Dana’s SUV
Dana had been driving around WeHo for twenty minutes, she had no destination in mind yet somehow her hands turned the wheel at all too familiar streets and she found herself at a place she knew very well…The Planet. In her solitude she had let Shane’s words sink in, what was she really gaining by running away from this? Safety, security, knowledge that she wouldn’t be left heartbroken? But here she was having felt the very emotion of despair and feeling so adrift that all she wanted was to back in Alice’s arms. The only time Dana had felt utterly protected was with the blonde and she was not about to lose everything she had ever wished for. Stepping out of her car, she looked ready and prepared to begin patching up her enormous error, now all she needed to do was think about how that mission was going to be accomplished and order a very large dose of caffeine.
Alice’s Apartment
Alice was pottering about in the kitchen, cursing at her microwave that was currently beeping very loudly for no apparent reason. Alice’s technical appliance skills were very limited and instead of reading the instruction booklet or pushing a few buttons to discontinue the noise, she was hammering it with her fist.
“What the fuck is wrong with you ya giant piece of shit? Mother fucker…”
Shane smirked upon hearing the outburst and was busy typing in a text message to Jenny thanking her for calling Alice like she’d asked. Jenny was clueless as to why Shane would want her to interrupt the blonde thinking it was maybe a plot to disturb Alice and Dana having sex to wind them up and especially piss Alice off.
The brunette sent another message, this time to Dana explaining what she’d told Alice and that the athlete better do some heavy duty making up for this mistake. Once it sent, Shane had another idea. She needed to replace the note under the bed just to be of the safe side. There was no harm in being too cautious, what Alice didn’t know wouldn’t hurt her so a plan began formulating in the mind of Miss McCutcheon.
