Fuck…Tina mumbled to herself.

She then went back to Christie’s room and laid next to her tolding her tight never wanting to let go.

Tina was safe for now, not because the doors were locked but because someone was outside watching her house making sure the violent husband didn’t return….and that person was none other than her most loyal friend Marcus Allenwood, he vowed to stay with her that night no matter what and that’s just what he would do whether inside or out.

The next day…

Tina was in the car taking her daughter to school. She had glasses on her face to cover up the black eye and a hat on so the bruises wouldn’t be so visible clear. She noticed her daughter was quieter than normal, Tina reached over and grab hold of Christie’s hand

Tina: Honey are you ok?

Chrsitie: yes mom.

Tina: I know last night was scary but I promise nothing would ever happen to you and things are going to get better…okay?

Christie nodded her head while looking at her mother.

Tina’s heart was breaking…how did she let her life get to this point…it was time to make a change for her daughter’s sake…but what do she do?

Before she realized it she now parked in front of Christie’s school.

Tina: ok sweetheart so you know if anybody ask you…

Christie: don’t worry mom I won’t say anything.

Tina: I know baby…I know

Tina reached over and hugged her daughter tight then kissed her on the forehead.

Tina: I love you sweetheart!..More than anything and don’t you ever forget it okay.

Christie: okay mom

Christie hugged Tina one last time…she really loved her mother more than life itself.

Chrisite: I gotta go mom there goes Ms. Williams standing outside.

Tina: ok sweetheart but I will be here to pick you up right after school ok.

Christie: ok

Christie opened the door and left her mother’s car walking over to the teacher who was standing outside collecting all of her students.

Ms.Williams seen Tina inside the car and waved, Tina waved quickly then pulled off.

A mintue later…

Bette pulled up to the sidewalk.

Bette: ok sweetie…are you gonna be ok?

Angie: yea mama I will be fine…I just want to see Christie.
