Bette was getting a bit distraught and looking more to Tina than the doctor as she tried to make sense of this turn of events.
“You didn’t do anything wrong Bette. Pregnancy symptoms are very unpredictable. Multiple births come with their own set of complications and they vary by individual. I don’t want you beating yourself up about what you did or didn’t do. That will only result in causing undue stress and worry which will do more harm than good to both you and the babies.
What we all need to do now is focus on what we do next; which is everything possible to bring both these angels to term. My recommendation after you are discharged from the hospital is the same as before except I’m going to place you on full bed rest for a few days. I want to see you again in a week. We’ll keep the 8th week ultrasound schedule as planned, but you’ll have it here with me instead of Dr. Wilson. I don’t want you traveling anywhere at least for the next six weeks. Let’s get you through the first trimester, and then we’ll see.”
After the consultation Nurse Jane called an attendant to bring a wheelchair for Bette. Dr. Padilla walked with Tina as they were escorted to the private hospital suite that would be home for the next two days. It was beautifully appointed with a calming color scheme, full bathroom, sitting area and two double beds.
The bathroom was stocked with toiletries and clean towels. Two sets of pajamas were neatly folded on the bed and terry cloth robes hung in the closet. Neither Bette nor Tina had eaten much that evening so the nurse ordered a light snack which was placed on the coffee table in the sitting area. Once Nurse Jane saw to their needs she excused herself to allow them privacy to get showered and changed. Dr. Padilla said goodnight and admonished Bette to get some much needed rest.
“Now I want you to get some rest. I’ll come by to see you first thing in the morning.”
“Thank you Doc.”
“My pleasure. It’s not often I tend to siblings that are expectant parents at practically the same time. Your mother is so delightful. She’ll certainly have her hands full with three grand-babies and a five year old to contend with. I understand Greg and Cole are waiting in the visitor’s lounge?”

The play stands as called,TINA is now a homerun queen.Both babies are not out of the woods yet so to speak but here’s hoping with bedrest BETTE will have a smooth pregnancy.Now about that ”lap dance”,yes BETTE is horny but TINA you bet not drop it like its hot!!! thanks

A week bed rest, a night mare for Bette and a few more weeks without intimacy, that will be a challence. But they will do everything so that the baby’s will develop steady.

The birth of healthy children. I think I remember this was as far as you got in the original posting of this story. Thank you for reposting and continuing to give us this great tale. Remember the first pregnancy when Dr. Wilson said “those poor little fellas couldn’t Impregnate anyone.” ? Bette, the ever over-achiever, released two eggs and Randy’s sperm were strong swimmers. Twins! How exciting for them.
