Echo
Trapt
“Echo”
Close my eyes
Let the whole thing pass me by
There is no time
To waste asking why
I’ll run away with you by my side
I’ll run away with you by my side
(Close my eyes)
(Let the whole thing pass me by)
I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride
(Asking why)
I think about your face
And how I fall into your eyes
The outline that I trace
Around the one that I call mine
Time that called for space
Unclear where you drew the line
I don’t need to solve this case
And I don’t need to look behind
Close my eyes
Let the whole thing pass me by
There is no time
To waste asking why (asking why)
I’ll run away with you by my side (by my side)
I’ll run away with you by my side (Let the whole thing pass me by)
I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride (There is no time)
(Asking why)
Do I expect to change
The past I hold inside
With all the words I say
Repeating over in my mind
Some things you can’t erase
No matter how hard you try
An exit to escape is all there is left to find
Close my eyes
Let the whole thing pass me by
There is no time
To waste asking why
I’ll run away with you by my side (Let the whole thing pass me by)
I’ll run away with you by my side (There is no time)
I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride
Until this echo, echo, echo, echo in my mind
Until this echo, echo, echo, echo can subside
(I know I always loved you)
(I know I always loved you)
(I know I always loved you)
So I close my eyes
Let the whole thing pass me by
There is no time
To waste asking why
I’ll run away with you by my side
I’ll run away with you by my side
(Close my eyes)
(Let the whole thing pass me by)
(There is no time)
I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride
Until this echo, echo, echo, echo in my mind
Until this echo, echo, echo, echo can subside
Dana squinted in the bright sunlight, wishing she had thought to bring her sunglasses. She would have liked to put them in her purse, not that she would have actually had room for them in her miniscule handbag anyway. It seemed to be a rule of thumb that the nicer a woman’s outfit, the smaller her purse. It didn’t make much sense to Dana, but who was she to break the unspoken fashion rules – especially at her best friend’s wedding?

Ah, i loved that so so happy with a danish reconciliation. Im sat with a huge smile on my face. Great story.
I loved it…it was soo sweet. Always love to see Shane help these two and soo happy they “ran away” together
Great Danish post. Thought the Shane and Dana bickering was hysterical. Does this mean wedding bells for the happy couple?
Today is Danish bonus day, everyone posting back to back. *happy Happy* Even happier after I read this fic :) There’s something about wedding, the 3rd party, undying love that makes go weak at the knees. Oooh I love this!
this is great and I just hope that there is more to come from this like a wedding and maybe children please post soon just an idea
Yay danish bonus day! I love that and I love this, thanks.
sitting here with a huge happy grin on my face. i loved it. i loved your song choice, and i loved the interpretation. and i love reconciling Danish. — p.s. Shane was great!
I love your sories! When you became romantic you do it so well!LOL. I love Shane here and Jenny was weired and funny just like ever. Love it and maybe you’ll find something more to write on this story.
Extremely estatic after reading this! Brought tears, laughter, and snot to my face. I haven’t heard the song yet, but are you sure EZ girl had nothing to do with it? The last verse of the song “Let go, let go, let go”? No? Maybe it’s just me then. Good job, absolutely loved it!
Oh… My… God… That was so romantic! Wow I feel like such a chick right now but I don’t care because this was incredible. I love it! Seriously! Man I sound like an idiot but this fic was just… wow. WOW!!!
