Barb: I’ll be careful. Now I really want something sweet. (Looking at the living room full of people, and putting an arm around Shane’s shoulder) I think I’m going to enjoy being here. Come on, let’s get some dessert.

I look at the living room, I think I never saw a group of people so diverse, but, somehow I see the similarities,

I sat next to Shane, and far away from Alice.

Barb: Guys, who wants coffee? Tee?

Tina (grinning): That’s me

Bette, Barb: Ah?

Dana: JAJAJAJA that’s her nickname, I use to call her like that in college.

Barb (looking at Bette): Who wants Tee?, that’s my cue, Bette is blushing, I look at Shane and mouth “No Clue”.

Shane: I think we all want coffee, don’t get me wrong Tina, you’re hot, but we just met..

Barb (throwing a pillow at Shane): JAJAJA, Funny there, coffee for everybody.

Alice: Thank you…Well I see that there are a lot of people here, some new, some old

Barb, Shane (together): Something blue…JAJAJAJAJAJA

Bette (lifting an eyebrow): You seem to know each other really well, why don’t you enlight us how you two know each other?

Barb: Like "Miss Universe" style? Good Evening, I’m Barbara Porter and I represent Chile?

Everybody laughs….

Bette: Well, actually, is not a bad idea, I’m Bette Porter, Gallery Owner, and I’m Barbara’s cousin.

Kit: You didn’t say your age!

Bette: Not funny…

Kit:  I’m Kit Porter, Bette’s sister and Barbara’s cousin; I’m the owner of AURA San Francisco and AURA LA.

Dana Fairbanks: I’m Dana, Dana Fairbanks, professional tennis player and I’m Tina’s best friend.

Tina: I’m Tina Kennard, I’m a developer at Alphaville Studios and I’m Barbara’s roommate.

Alice: I’m Alice Pieszecki,

Dana: Piez….

Alice: P.I.E.S.Z.E.C.K.I

Dana: Piazcei?

Alice: Never mind, you’ll get use to it (winking at Dana). I’m a journalist at LA Magazine and I have something called “The Chart”, someday I’ll make good money with it, You see, we are all connected, through love, through loneliness, through one tiny lamentable lapse in judgment. AH! I’m one of Bette’s closest friend and Shane and I are friends too.
