Bette and Tina had been sitting outside the emergency room waiting for news on Marina for a few hours. After several telephone calls, the only people they were able to reach were Alice and Shane. The latter of which was walking in as Bette got up to ask for information once again.

So what the ***** happened? Shane asked Bette as she walked back to the waiting area.

All we know is that she went to break it off with Francesca and then she shows up bloody and battered in our front yard, Bette responded sitting next to Tina and placing her hand on her lovers knee.

No Tina tried the colleges around the area to see if she was listed as personnel and we cant remember the last names of her roommates, Bette said dejectedly.

I dont think she ever told us, Shane replied putting her head in her hands. She suddenly lifted her head and looked at her friends. What about her agent?

Her agent? Tina asked incredulously. Why would an archeologist have an agent?

She writes books right? Remember that day we met her? Those girls getting her autograph?

Oh yeah! Tina said with a spark in her eyes.

And if anyone knows how to reach her its her agent! Ive dealt with enough agents in the art world to know that, Bette said warming to Shanes idea. T could you call Alice and have her get her hands on one of CiCis books? They should have the agent listed in there. If they dont, we can try to call the publisher and see if they have any information.

We have to at least try, Tina said walking over to the courtesy phone in the waiting room. Besides, Alice may have some way of reaching those people she is a writer after all.
