“Maybe we should go and buy the dog stuff?” she asks emptying her cup. I smile at her before reaching for my purse for money.

The shopkeeper must have gone crazy; the man is now walking back and forth in pure distress. My wife however is unbeknown to the distress that she caused, she wants everything to match running around picking out everything we need. Since I never owned a dog I decide on leaving her with all the difficult questions. “Bette, this leash or this one” for me the two leashes would have looked entirely the same, but she has obviously seen something, “The right one” I point at the blue one. “Ok, I’ll have this one as well” she puts the leash on the counter that is already overfilled with Lena’s crazy shopping. I help her load everything in the car before I head back to school.

After visiting Tina finding that she was sound asleep, I drove by the flower shop buying dozen tulips for my wife. It smells of food as I open the front door. Helena has already set the table and is very happy to see my bouquet. “I love you honey” she exclaims before padding back to the kitchen. I take a quick shower before I walk back into the kitchen. Helena is reading some papers and the pizza is in the oven. Just as I lean down to kiss her, I hear a car in the drive way. Fishing down our coats we both hurry outside, Dana already outside the car running towards us however Peggy is still hidden behind the open door. I pick up Dana giving her a quick hug, “Did you have fun?” I ask her as I look up on my other daughter who has a1 little black Labrador tucked neatly in her hands.

The little dog is wriggling as crazy but also seems to enjoy the closeness with Peggy. Helena has closed the front gates so both Peggy and Angus can let the dogs loose. I give Peggy a sideway hug and I can see that she have had a good time as well. “Did they behave?” I ask Kit has I receive their bags. “Little angels. They are so adorable, it was good for us to connect with them” she laughs at me. “Thank you so much!” I give them a grateful smile, the smile grows even wider as I hear them shout for Angus as Uncle Angus. “So how is Tina?” she close the backdoor of her car. “Not entirely out of the woods but better” I say letting the smile die on my lips. “I just don’t know, she hasn’t been really conscious yet, I hope she and Henry will find back together. It was strange to see the man love her so badly” I let my eyes swerve over the front yard resting on Angus, Helena and the girls. “Well it turned out well for the both of you” she gives me a hug.
