FEB FF CHALLENGE: A Time For Healing Fourth Final Chapter

    Then…

"I will do everything in my power to help you get through this. And I promise you I will not go to the retreat until you get better." Bette whispered the promise fiercely, before trying to relax and let the tiredness catch up to her.

    Now…

Dana finally woke up feeling lighter and refreshed. More so since she had, had her surgery, or even since the whole ordeal started going down with her diagnosis of cancer. Since her nausea had finally settled down, she figured an attempted car ride back home should be good.

Bette was currently driving Dana back home, both women figuring that she probably shouldn’t stay the night. Dana was very much aware that Lara was at home waiting for her. She couldn’t help but wonder and be amazed at herself, for the fact that she didn’t feel or have one guilty thought about what had happened between herself and Bette. The athletic brunette rested her head back against the headrest of the seat and closed her eyes. She felt herself getting tense again, and began the deep breaths like Bette had taught her to help find her safe place within her mind.

Dana wondered how she would react to Tina again once she saw her and she wondered if Bette and her would make love again. Of course in her mind, a war was already wagging about if she can make love to Bette then she can make love to Lara. But Dana couldn’t help but feel that Lara’s actions were out of sympathy and that Lara, although she loved Dana was doing this out of responsibility versus love. Dana didn’t get this feeling from Bette, maybe it was because although they were both going through different things, they both needed the peace and tranquility in their life right now.

Dana’s concentration was broke when she heard a gurgling noise break through her mind scape she was currently traveling. The brunette turned her head to the back seat to look at Angelica who was looking very adorable as usual, attempting to grab her sock from her feet. Dana saw that Angie was gripping her sock and not letting go, but couldn’t quite pull it completely off. She let out a soft chuckle as she watched the little baby, making Bette to turn her attention on to Dana.

    3. That was so beatiful and painful. It was so much more than sex with them, it was actually helping and getting each other through terrible times… How deeply they were able to affect the other for good… so wonderful. Thank you. 5. I just read this all at once, and it is indeed a beautiful story, Pands! Everyone so true to their characters, and so much love expressed in so many ways. I did sense something special when Bette showed Dana how to meditate–this was so much better than what we saw on the show. They should definitely hire you! Simply beautiful, kid!

    6. I’m not a writer, I can’t express what I feel in words like you do, but if you could look in my eyes for just one moment you would know what this story did to me. I’ve saved it in a word document, I’ve printed it out so I can treasure it and read it every time I feel the need too. Thanks.
