After her little performance in Bettes office earlier in the day Tina was more than confident, Bette would be at her place for dinner, no matter how much work Bette needed to finish. Tina went back home, she thought she had better get at least a few hours sleep, because if she had her way, her and Bette would be up most of the night.***** most of the weekend, after all they had the last 10 days to make up for!

After Tina left Bettes office, Bette couldnt wipe the smile off her face. Bette knew payback was in order but she just couldnt help letting her mind wander, thinking how amazing Tina was. Tina satisfied Bettes every need, she was her lover, a great lover at that, her best friend, her confidantbut more than anything else, her soul mate. Bettes phone beeped causing her to snap out of her thoughts, I better get some work done, if I want to be seeing Tina at dinner time. she thought. First she needed to make a phone call. Bette got rid of the other call and rang the local florist. She ordered a dozen red roses to be delivered to Tinas at 6:30pm, not before; she knew Tina needed bit of sleep. With a note saying

Bette left the gallery at 5.30pm, she got a surprising amount of work done after Tinas ***** surprise, and now she had had enough. It was time to go see Tina and sort out the little matter of payback.

I never want to go 10 days without seeing you again. I will be happy beyond belief if you just say yes. What do you say? Bette looked at Tina anxiously.

Tina had an unreadable expression on her face, a tear trickled down her cheek, Bette, I love you so much but I can’t move in with you.

Bettes smile immediately disappeared and disappointment flooded her eyes
