“Well there is more I want to fill you
in about.  This latest revelation has led
Bette to contact Peggy Peabody.  She has
set up a meeting with her next Thursday. 
At this meeting Bette wants to impress upon Peggy just what Helena’s
been up to and well your sting might be exposed Grace.  I hope you don’t mind.” Tina confesses to her
friends.

“Oh Tina don’t worry about it.  The whole purpose is to get Helena out of our business and if it takes
Mommy Dearest riding in on a white horse and jerking her daughter back into
reality then we will all win.” Grace says trying to sooth Tina apprehensions.

“Actually if Peggy comes through I
would feel a lot better knowing that Gracie up there isn’t sticking her neck
out anymore so Tina if that will do it then I’m all for going to Peggy.  Make sure you let her know that when we’ve
got her little girl dead to rights we won’t be afraid to pull the trigger.”
Jackie declares with a bravo that is felt by both Tina and Grace.

“Well I will personally let her know
that Jackie because I’m going with Bette. 
I want Peggy to have no doubt that I am not comfortable with her
daughter or better yet what her daughter is capable of.” Tina now feels the
fight in her.

Chapter 145 – Taking Control

Walking out of Jason’s office Helena straightened up
her back and pulled out her cell phone to call Samantha, after the afternoon
she has had Helena
was ready for a little relaxation.  She
had already called for the jet to take her back to San Francisco for the evening.  She has always been mobile in where she ran
her business and it was no different with her being in San Francisco for an extended period of
time.  The continuance that Tina’s
attorney had requested would be up and court would be back in session tomorrow.  Helena
had scheduled a flight early tomorrow morning, which would allow her to be in
court on time at 9 AM, but
for tonight she wanted a little fun and she intended to get it.

“Samantha dear, I hope your afternoon
went better than mine.  I am in the mood
for some private relaxation and am hoping to pick you up for dinner.  I will have Charles come by the Foundation
and pick you up in say an hour.  Alright
darling, see you then.” Helena
gets off quickly not giving Samantha any time to dispute the events, as Helena wanted them to
unfold.
