    Great Unexpectations Chapter 1

What can you lose?/ Only the blues. Why keep concealing everything you’re feeling?/ Say it to her, what can you lose?/ Maybe it shows,/ She’s had clues, which she chose to ignore./ Maybe, though, she knows/ And just wants to go on as before./ As a friend nothing more/ So she closes the door./ Well, if she does/ Those are the dues./ Once the words are spoken,/ Something may be broken./ Still, you love her/ What can you lose?/ But what if she goes?/ At least now, you have part of her./ What if she had to choose?/ Leave it alone?/ Hold it all in?/ Better a bone/ Don’t even begin./ With so much to win,/  There’s too much to lose.

    Chapter 1.

Bette moaned. "God T, that feels sooo good. Don’t stop." The blonde was slowly, almost painfully feasting on Bette’s inner core with her skillful tongue. Bette was caressing Tina’s hair and at the same time applying gentle pressure on her head so that she, indeed, would not stop. Tina began increasing the frequency and intensity of her actions which brought screams of delight to her lovers lips. While her mouth was occupied with it’s favorite destination, her hands were wrapped around Bette’s lower back, bringing Bette’s hips closer to her. "Oh god, Ti..na…Just like that!! Don’t ever stop baby. Oh I love you. Tina!! Tina!!" Bette’s hips and legs began to quake as the spasms took over.

As the waves subsided Tina removed herself from her lover’s embrace and brought herself back up beside Bette to see her mouth the words "I love you Tina". Bette, still enraptured and sensing her lover smiling on in admiration, reached over to kiss Tina. As she caressed her hair she was surprised at how different the locks felt. Coarser. As she became more aware of her surroundings she also noticed that Tina was kissing her differently. A slow realization began to creep in as she woke from her half-dream and remembered the events of the past week. Driving that tractor. Being told not to break her heart. The kiss. Her grand gesture, the sign, had worked. Worked wonderfully. Better than she had hoped. They’d spent a wonderful week together full of passion and art. But something was missing.

    1. Great start. You must continue.I do believe this is a little how it’s going to end up.. although not so quickly. I think that either Jodi will realise that B&T still have intense emotion for each other and force Bette into going back to her. OR B&T will move on, and finally close the chapter on their relationship.. giving them both a chance to move on – Bette with Jodi and Tina with someone new. I do believe that if the latter happens IC will have them dicuss the end of thier relationship. That’s how I see it in my head, although I could be completely wrong :) Anyway, post more! Soon!

    2. I like this Bette who catches the subtle nuances of what is happening around her – it shows how she has changed while still remaining the same, if that makes sense. Looking forward to where you’re headed with this. Great job on your first efforts!! PPS

    3. Awesome start. Bette will be shocked, but lets see if she’s willing to face her true feelings. I mean, she’s making love with Jodi but thinking its Tina. Hello, big sign, far bigger and more of a statement than 17 Reasons.

    4. Lovely start. I really like the scene with the shampoo and familiar scents. Please all powerful writer, do not dash our hopes against the rocks. Help Tina and Bette find their way back to each other…More , please, soon?

    5. Yes a happy story is what is needed. I like how you have Tina finally verbalizing what she should have said all along. Now let’s see what Bette’s response will be.
