    Heartbreak

Helena lay in bed looking at her ceiling wondering how the world would look at her and her new lover. She knew loving this woman would only cause more heart ache and isolation for her new lover.

She knew Bette would think she did this to somehow get to her. It was funny how she and Bette seem to have the same taste in lover. First Tina who she didn’t even know was Bette’s girlfriend until she was already impressed with her and her compassion. Who’s writing about the underprivileged children brought tears to her eyes. She didn’t find Tina attractive because of Bette but in spite of Bette. Then realizing that Tina only had eyes for Bette and feeling the need to move on she meet Leigh. Then Leigh as it turned out was one of the few women Bette asked out during Tina and her breakup. Helena not wanting to compete with Bette once again moved on.

Now this new lover another one of Bette’s ex’s had wormed her way into Helena heart in ways she didn’t think possible. She first noticed her after her breakup with her longtime friend turned lover. She knew this once charming soul was tittering on going over the edge and somehow all her friends weren’t seeing the signs. She sat back and watched the once charming and funny become quite and sad. It was like witnessing a person disappearing in front of you eyes. She wondered if her friends were just going to let her fade away.

She happened on her one day crying in the corner after a yoga class they shared together. She had taken the class to trying to meet a new group of people. She wanted desperately to separate herself from the small group of friends who seemed to circle around Bette. But no matter what she tried or where she went, she always seemed to continue running into one or more of them. You would have thought this was a small town and not West Hollywood. Maybe that silly Chart was right and everyone was connected to each other.

She walked up to and then sat down beside this lovely broken creature. She didn’t need to say anything because words were not what were needed now. She knew what was needed now was a human touch. So she reached over and pulled this fragile human into a hug. When this injured person finely looked sadly up into Helena eyes she could see a person that was broken and hurt beyond the heart and into the soul, leaving a shell of a person with little left of her soul.

    1. I am hoping that you can continue to do both. This was a wonderful, and heartbreaking story. How refreshing to read something from Helena’s point of view, and have it be positive. Don’t get me wrong, I like Dana and Alice together, as well…but maybe, just maybe, with your tender writing we can see another possibility. Please continue…thanks.

    2. I love Danish too, but isn’t it odd how therapeutic writing Alice/Helena (Helacious) fanfic is after reading those crazy spoilers?! Great story, keep it up!

    3. Hate you? no way!, I’m a totally danish fan, but like tennisplaya said this helacious thing is therapeutic, and I really want that somebody loves and treats Alice like she deserves.

    4. i love dana and alice…as much as i hate to say it dana seems a little undecided..i like to see Helena with this passion to make someone happy…i think Alice deserves that at least…you’ve helped for me to accept Helena in a good light…keep it coming
