Alice: Everything go okay, I take it?

Lara nods with her eyes closed and her emotions still mixed and confused.

Lara: Yeah…

Lara leans her head down, meeting Alice’s.

Alice: Hey…what’s wrong?

Lara: This is too crazy…

Alice: Nah, it’s not.  We’re all bonding together, a little at a time.  It’s been that way ever since you came back from Paris.  Look…no matter what happens…me and Dana are gonna be here for you.

Alice places her right hand against Lara’s left cheek.

Alice: I promise.

Their lips meet as thoughts turn to passion.  They grasp a hold of one another as their tongues slide together and their bodies migrate to the couch.  In her bed, Dana is still asleep.

Helena opens the door and sees a drunken and pitiful Bette standing before her.

Bette: Heyyyy….

Helena: Bette?

Helena places the bottle of wine on the floor as Bette stumbles into her arms.

Helena: My word, you’re wasted…

Bette: And ssssssorry.  I’m really….sssorry…

Helena: Oh, dear…

Helena closes the door and walks Bette to the couch.

Bette: I screwed up everyone’s eveninggg…

Helena sits her on the couch as the lightheaded rush flows through a now seated Bette.  Helena sits next to her, concerned with her left arm around Bette.

Helena: You didn’t screw up everyone’s evening, Bette.

Bette leans her head against Helena’s left shoulder.

Bette: Mmm hhhhmmmm…

Helena: Darling, this is probably more my fault than anyone else’s.

Bette: You’re ssssuch a good perssson.  I can see why Tee…

Bette’s voice goes silent as Helena looks on at her now passed out friend.  Helena runs right hand through Bette’s hair and Bette doesn’t flinch.  She hates seeing her like this.  She is too tired to move as well, eventually passing out on the couch along with her.

Elsewhere, another couch is occupied with Alice and Lara, who are now nude and no longer holding back in their passion.  Their hands explore each other’s bodies as their mouths clinch one another in the heat of the moment.

For Tina, the moment is that of sorrow as she is left alone now with only her sleeping baby daughter to keep her company.  Outside, the taxi arrives and Henry, suitcases and all, departs.

She hears the sounds coming from the other side of the door, causing her to wake up.  Climbing out of bed, the sound of sex becomes more and more evident with each step closer to the door itself.  She knows the moans of both involved.  She places her hand on the door at first, but fears the sight on the other side.  Of all the things Dana had hoped for, this is the one thing she never considered.  It is only now at this moment she realizes the dangers of her complacency for so long.  She can picture Alice and Lara both with her…but not without her.  As a tear rolls down her left cheek, she sees herself back in the hospital.  She sees herself in her hospital bed.  For one moment, she curses surviving.
