    She’s spent time doing laundry and talking with an apartment neighbor.  Now it’s time to do something she never had a chance to do while dealing with work and Holiday related traveling.  She’s going to return a phone call.  She punches in the numbers and waits.  Automatically she receives the voice mail message and waits for the beep.

    Leigh: …Hi.  Helena…this is Leigh.  Listen, I’m sorry I’m just now getting back to you…gah…it’s been a crazy month with projects and dealing with traveling and visiting family and everything.  But I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you and I hope everything’s okay.  Give me a call back whenever you get this…and this time I promise to be there.  Hope you had a great Christmas and if I don’t see you between now and then, Happy New Year.  ‘Bye…

    The Peabody Jet that flew Helena and her friends to Canada now flies them back home.  Everyone is tired as the jet navigates through the sky.  Everyone appears to be divided into groups of three.  Helena and Bette sit side by side across from Carmen.  Just across the aisle from them are Alice and Dana side by side with Lara seated across.  From time to time, the occassional glance is shared between Lara and Carmen, but no words are spoken between them.  Closer to the cockpit of the plane are Kit and Angus side by side, with Tina sitting across from them and holding baby Angelica in her arms.  From time to time, Tina will have Henry cross her mind.  Otherwise, her eyes become occupied with an image behind Kit and Angus, that sight being Bette and Helena side by side and enjoying one another’s company.  Seated closer to the back are Jenny and Shane with Max seated across from them.  From time to time, Shane will glance over at Carmen.  Shane can’t help but wonder at what’s going on in Carmen’s mind right now as things seem different suddenly.  Something has developed and Shane worries it may be over her.  It’s the downside of having the reputation of a heartbreaker.  Sometimes, the reputation lives up to itself too well.

    3. Tina will have swallow it back down. She can take Carmen with her and they can go be indignant and sick and self-righteous and bitter together, then initiate a new sort of Mile High Club. That being said… Dalace is bound to unsettle their friends. Maybe Winnie will swoop in and provide a nice outsider’s view of the whole thing. Lasso em up, shuffle, and deal, cos Peggy sure looks like she’s washed her hands of them all. Post soon
