    CHAPTER 19 / “Don’t you want to?”

    Previously…

    Teresa brought a shaking hand to the blonde’s face, her long delicate fingers tracing an imaginary line from the center of her forehead, down the side of her face along the angle of her jaw. It reminded the blonde of the way a mother touches her newborn, with wonder and awe, although the feelings the touch ignited were anything but familial.

    "You are so beautiful," Tess whispered as Tina closed her eyes and leaned into the Superintendent’s strong hand. Teresa closed the distance, bringing up her left hand and holding the blonde’s face gently. The first kiss was sweet, tentative. Tess gently massaged the blondes’ lips with her own, reveling in the softness, and the sweet, slightly acidic taste of the wine. Teresa pulled back for a moment, her breathing erratic,

    "I think I’m falling in love with you,"

    CHAPTER 19

    Tina opened her eyes at the brunette’s confession. In, a matter of seconds Tina watched a cloud of doubt weather the brunette’s face, turning her expression from bliss to fear. Before Teresa could retract her statement, Tina dove in for another kiss. The force of Tina’s affection nearly caused the Superintendent to lose her footing. In an effort to remain upright, Teresa’s grasped at the blonde. She was all at once shocked, not only by the blondes’ strength in her ability to keep them both upright, but also by the skilled, hypnotic use of her tongue.

    Once their footing was secure, the brunette found her hands acting of heir own accord, immediately seeking out the cool milky white skin underneath the tank top.

    "We should stop." Tina groaned.

    "Why?"

    "Don’t you want to?"

    Tina attempted to slow the action down, afraid of Teresa facing another setback. When she held the elder woman’s gaze; however, any doubts she had were extinguished. The level of desire and want in those brown eyes was painfully arousing. Teresa didn’t say a word; instead, she began disrobing. Tina watched as Tess made quick work of removing her own jacket. The minute the jacket was off, Teresa dove in for another kiss. She couldn’t help herself. Now that she had decided that this was what she wanted, she wouldn’t be dissuaded.

    Tina’s head lolled back as Teresa traced circles with her tongue along the blonde’s jaw-line,
