    Author Notes:

    Finally …

    Bette knocks lightly on the front door and waits.  The door opens slowly to reveal Tina and true to her text, she is wearing her new t-shirt and seemingly nothing else.  Bette’s jaw drops and she speaks shyly, “H – hi.”

     

    “Hi,” Tina responds.

     

    “These are for you.”  Bette hands her the roses.

     

    “Thank you,” Tina takes them and holds them under her nose.  She closes her eyes and breathes in the scent of the roses.  She opens her eyes and smiles at Bette.

     

    Bette smiles back then looks away.  “Tina, I don’t want you to feel rushed into anything.  I mean …”

     

    Bette is interrupted as Tina grabs her by the front of her shirt and pulls her inside her apartment.  She closes the front door and then pushes Bette up against it.  She kisses her roughly, taking immediate control of Bette’s mouth.  After a moment, she pulls back.

     

    “You’re not getting out of this one Porter.  Don’t you think we’ve waited long enough?” she asks as she lays the roses on an end table.

     

    “I just don’t want you to feel pressured.”

     

    “Trust me, I don’t feel pressured.”  She kisses Bette again deeply.  When they separate she speaks again, almost out of breath, “I feel horny.”

     

    Bette giggles.  “OK, let’s see what we can do about that.”  She kisses Tina back and begins to back her towards the bedroom. 

     

    They are moving slowly, stepping carefully, kissing the entire time.  They are almost to the bedroom door when Tina suddenly halts their progress.  Bette pulls back to look at her, silently questioning.

     

    “You’re not running this show Porter.  This is my seduction scene.”  She turns them around so that she is pushing Bette into the bedroom.  “Do you have a problem with that soldier?”

     

    “Ma’am, no ma’am” Bette responds in true military fashion. 

     

    Tina opens the bedroom door with her hand behind Bette’s back and guides them through the doorway.  Bette immediately takes in the scent of vanilla that fills the room.  The room is glowing from the candles placed all around. 

     

    They slowly make their way towards Tina’s bed.  Tina is carefully removing each piece of clothing from Bette’s body.  As they stand facing each other beside the bed, Bette places her hands gently on each side of Tina’s face.  She kisses her sweetly and says, “I love you T.”
