Bette felt tired even as she felt happy at her familys excitement, Tina seeing that Bette was about to fall asleep, ushered everyone outside quietly even as Cassie lay at Bettes side deep in her slumber.

Watching her wife move through the room Bette last thoughts were of Tinas beauty before succumbing to the lure of sleep.

Even though she was tired Tina just couldnt sleep, her thoughts were still awhirl and now with Bette awake it only lead to more.

So what happens now?

Can I forgive her?

Will we be able to work through our problems together or will this just happen all over again?

Tinas heavy thoughts were interrupted when Kit brought her some coffee and offered to sit with Bette and Cassie whilst she freshened up and got something to eat.

Looking over at her watch Tina was surprised to see that midday had already arrived and her stomach growled as if hearing her thoughts. Reluctantly nodding her acceptance, Tina left Bettes room.

Walking out to the hallway she was greeted to the sight of Leo hunched over in a seat seemingly deep in thought.

Tina froze not knowing what to do or say; I mean was this person Bettes partner? What should she do, walk past and ignore them? Or ask what is so troubling? Be concerned? Or just do nothing?

There are many choices as to what Tina could and should do, but her conscience just wouldnt let her act in any way other than her concerning nature allowed.

So Tina approached Leo slowly and said

Hi! Bettes still resting if you want to go home? Shes ok, Im sure that Cassie will be fine as well.

Leo looked up as Tina approached trying to dismiss the sad thoughts that wouldnt go away. Hearing her comforting words, Leos mind insisted on replaying memories from a time that was repeating itself.

Working diligently at the all important executive meeting, Leo was snapped out of the work haze when the call came through. Feeling panic rise within, Leo pushed it aside ruthlessly and focused solely on getting to the hospital. Arriving after what seemed like an eternity, Leo ran to the emergency surgery, where the victim lay.
