“Yes, sir?”
“You have some information that you’d like to share about your sister, Bette Porter?”
“Does anyone around here speak English? I told the authorities everything I knew.”
“Well according to Tina Kennard she claims that you have more to add to this startling situation.”
Kit gazes over at Tina with a look that she better fix this or else…
“Uh, chief, hi, I’m Tina Kennard.”
Tina says extending her hand toward the old fella.
“Hello, how are you?”
“I’m good. I’ll be better once my daughter’s in my arms.”
“Hey we all will. This has to be horrible for you.”
“It is. But, about my wife, I don’t know where she is.”
“But according to Officer Buck he claims that you knew something about her where abouts.”
“I don’t. I lied. I thought I knew the place where she could be, but I came to a conclusion that I was wrong. I’m sorry, sir. And, please disregard any information bought to you at the moment.”
Chief Mike Adams stared Tina up and down. There was something different about her that he couldn’t grasp. She was hiding something and he wasn’t about to let this go so easily.
“Are you sure?”
“I’m positive.”
Tina replies openly and honestly. Kit joins her side with her lip in her hand. She couldn’t believe how quickly Tina changed her mind. It was amazing.
“Ok, well, we’re going to be here until tomorrow. But, once she crosses over the border there isn’t anything we could do.”
Tina’s eyes widen when she found out that Bette couldn’t be touched. Wherever she was in Idaho she was safe until she returns back to L.A.
“Good.”
Tina smiles and wraps her arm around Kit.
“Let’s go.”
Tina whispers in her ear.
“You’re crazy.”
Kit whispers back.
“I know.”
The two hold one another as they enter the lobby.
“Officer Buck…”
Chief Mike Adams snaps his finger.
“Yes, sir?”
“I need you to do me a favor?”
“Yes, sir?”
“I need for you to keep a watchful eye on Ms. Kennard and Kit Porter. They’re both up to something?”
“Will do, sir.”
“Get out of here.”
Officer Buck backs away and enters the lobby.
Idaho…
“Come on Angie…”
Bette says as she picks the baby up. Snow was beginning to fall outside completely covering everything. Because she didn’t have a TV or any number to call the weather she was doomed. So, she made sure to dress properly for what can be another couple of days on the road. She took once last look at the cabin and swung the door closed. BAM!

I really don’t trust Tina… what’s with the weird switch of attitudes?
Is Tina Loco? Okay I might be wrong…but if Tina is all for covering up for Bette right now, can’t she just call off the search and say this was all a misunderstanding? I mean it is her child they are looking for? (You know what I mean when I say her child right? I mean her & Bette’s child). I don’t trust Tina for nothing right now…now Bette and Angelica have left the safety of that cabin and are out in the cold & snow. I bet the next time Kit tries to call Bette she won’t even pick up the phone…I know I wouldn’t. Bette needs to call Shane or Alice and give them Angelica to take back to her other mother and Bette needs to regroup cause her actions right now are sparatic. I feel if this keeps up something bad is gonna happen. I have one eye watching the post and the other watching ATL Falcons get steamrolled.
Was Tina really going to snitch on Bette or is she playing some game with the authorities to cover their tracks? As it is Bette is leaving in dangerous weather that can get both her and Angelica killed.
I read these two together! Hmm…indeed, Tina is acting erractically, but why? She has unfortunately called attention to her and Kit now. Somehow, they have to formulate a plan and contact Bette about it. Hope Bette doesn’t have her locator active on her phone because once they check the hotel records and find the number, they can track her down. Much intrigue is to come, I gather! Please continue soon!

‘Kit growls with one eye open and the other closed.’ This mental image made me laugh. I keep thinking that Tina is acting all weird and stuff so she’ll draw attention to herself and then make a break for it to get to Bette. Although now it doesn’t matter because Bette is on the road again.
Please Bette stop! she needs to stop and face the reality an her problems, Angel needs both of her mothers. the next chapter please!

Hey Vakkav, Am am totally confused by Tina’s behavior. One minute she is telling the world where Bette is and then the next she is covering it up. Looks like the police chief is on to her so she’d better tread carefully now. Kit was a riot as the police officer tried to huckle her out of the room. Just where is Bette going to go to now? And what the hell is Tina up to? Pls answer these soon. Thank you. A Fan.
Tina you bipolar ass woman, wth! All you have to do it.go to the cabin by.yourself, you and Bette talk without a crowd, make up, light the fireplace and make love,….it’s that simple, but it never is in tibette land
