    Previously:

        Tina merely raised her brows and didn’t lose her
    smile. Her thumb tenderly grazed Bette’s eyebrows and slowly tested the
    skin of her eyelids.

        Through closed eyes, Bette could still see Tina’s
    face. “What do you see when you look at me, Tina? Why do you look at me
    like that? And what is that? I don’t understand…”

        Bette felt lips land on then conform to the contour
    of her chin. A moment later, the lips sought and found her own.

        Tina wanted to make Bette smile. In Tina’s
    experience, there are many different kinds of smiles. She’s seen them
    all. She thought Bette’s real genuine smile colored the world just a
    lighter shade or reality.

        “Mm…” Tina murmured as she lifted her head and
    waited for Bette to open her eyes. When Bette did, Tina saw the
    glittering quality that she’s come to recognize as Bette being real.

        Bette looked up at Tina and still could not fathom
    the quiet look. “What are you thinking?” Bette asked softly.

        Tina gave a mischievous grin. “I was just thinking that there are many different ways of kissing.”

        “Ways of kissing? I know of two… are there more?”
    Bette felt something wanting to unfold behind her eyes. There was a
    physical ache at her temples at the effort of holding it back.

        “Well…” Tina drawled. “It’s a complicated
    concept… I don’t think I’ll be able to explain it very well. Now,”
    Tina beamed down at Bette, “If you’d allow me to demonstrate…”

        Bette gulped but didn’t move. After a beat, she nodded.

        “Stand up.” Tina ordered quietly.

        Bette got up and stood in front of Tina. Tina stood
    up too so that they were face to face. Bette felt lightheaded, but she
    was sure it wasn’t because she’d stood up too quickly. It had
    everything to do with Tina standing so close to her, with the promise
    of many different ways of kissing.

        Tina only smiled at first. She looked Bette in the eye and smiled.

        Bette raised her brow in expectation, but when Tina
    didn’t do anything more, Bette felt a pout tug at her lip. Tina noticed
    and laughed. “I thought you were going to let me demonstrate!”

        “I am! So… where are they?” Bette was a little embarrassed at the hint of begging in her tone.

    11. So I wonder if Bette is finally going to show how, much she wants Tina. Hope Tina goes with Bette to Italy, to show up Helena, as she thinks she can buty her way into Bette’s affections, with the promotion. Looking forward to your next chapter, post ASAP.
