    Books, pets, and who really is in control?

    Previously….

    At the same time Bette was pulling the book off the self, two of Dani’s friends from school were walking by, and recognized her. They were going to say something, but saw that she was absorbed in the book she had just chosen, so decided not to bother her, and started walking again. Just then, Tina, who thought that Bette was where she had left her, walked around the corner, with her head down, and started talking without looking up.

    “Baby, this is perfect, listen to this….Early Embraces: True Life Stories of Women Describing Their First ***** Experience…….Ouch!” Tina slammed right into Jamie, one of Dani’s friends. “Uh…oh…uh, Jamie…hi.” Tina stuttered the words out, as she turned bright red and struggled to gain her balance. “Uh…I’m sorry, I thought you were Bette.”

    Jamie looked down, and shuffled his feet, totally embarrassed upon hearing the title of the book his friend’s mother had in her hands.

    “No…no, it’s cool Ms. Kennard.” He looked over at his friend Mike, and then back to Tina. “It’s cool…uh…see you later.” With that the two young men took off in the opposite direction, while a mortified Tina desperately looked around for her missing partner.

    As Jamie and Mike walked away, Jamie whispered, “I thought Dani’s mom was a *****?” Mike whispers back, “she is.”

    Jamie looked at him confused. “And she’s just now learning how to have ***** with a woman?” Shaking his head, he says, “that’s sad man…that’s just plain sad. I mean, what’s the point of being with a hot Mrs. Robinson like her other mother, if you don’t ever have *****? ***** man…what a waste THAT is!”

    It’s Mike’s turn to look confused. “Mrs. Robinson?

    I thought Dani’s step-mom’s last name is Porter?”

    Jamie looks over at his buddy with exasperation written all over his face. “Are you telling me that you have never watched that oldies flick, The Graduate?!”

    “No, never heard of it,” Mike responded.

    Shaking his head, Jamie’s eyes followed Tina, as she met up with Bette in the middle of the store. “Man, you have got to go rent that movie…cause I’m telling you right now, older women are ***** HOT!”

    Chapter 4

     

    Tina approached Bette, feeling both relief at the sight of her partner, as well as a slight touch of annoyance. “Here you are!”

    6. first of all , loved this chapter and was happy with an update.
      Second, A few weeks ago I spent a couple of days reading this story and it is absolutely one of the most romantic stories on this site. I loved it from beginning to end. I went through all of the emotions of the characters, which just attests to your suberb writing. I hope you continue to write more fantastic stories. You are just one of the few authors who have me addicted to this site!!! Thanks again for taking the time to entertain us fan fic fans, especially,

    13. Well, I thought I had landed on the wrong page when I opened this site this afternoon. I had just recently been re-reading selected parts of this story! I have loved this one in particular from the beginng and have really liked the humorous side of Bette and Tina that you have been revealing. This is something definitely missing is S2 of TLW. I hope that you have found the career path that you have been searching for but selfishly I hope it leaves time for you to write more stories. For me I would love it if you continued on with this one but I am willing to be drawn into any story you wish to create for these characters. You have the ability to tmake an avowed hardass like me go reaching for the tissues.
      I can’t wait to read the entire story again….thanks over and over!

    14. Sorry to see that this is the last chapter in this story. You write with a maturity that is sometimes lacking on other stories – this is not a put-down in any way for the others but you put something in that personally appeals to me. I have enjoyed it so much, it has given me the B&T I have wished for through some tough times on the TV! I only hope that you come back with more of the same in S3 if required!

(Too bad it’s the ending) I had to wait so long for this that I started tinkering with my own story which starts with a similar premise but goes in a different direction. No pressure, but if you are ever so inclined, we could learn more about Milaine and how the young ones in the story turned out and I always thought there might be a story with Leslie in it.     26. What a great ending to a fantastic story, now if only IC would get a clue. You had me cracking up. The guys, with isn’t she’s a lesbian and she’s just now learning how to have sex with a woman. Thats sad, too funny. Then Bette hiding the book. But as always B&T merge as one in the end, as it should be, and you can teach an old dog new tricks. Awesome, hoping you’ll come back with another story.

I have read up on all your stories a little while ago and loved every single one of them. This one in particular is one of my favourites and it’s sad to see it end. Loved the way you’ve let us experience B&T’s journey through life along with all the emotions we seem to be feeling right along with them. DAMN . . . apologies for the delay in writing a comment but I too have been on a life changing journey of sorts . . . I had to trade a bag donuts and a 6 pack of Dew for library privileges and access to a computer. Am STILL waiting for that frickin woman of mine to cough up the bail money. But after reading these last few chapters of “REVISITED” I understand why your fans will miss you . . . you are MUSH QUEEN who believes in happy endings and your version of BnT reflected that throughout your writing. It was a great story from start to finish . . . one of many reasons I am still such a pathetic L addict; but i suspect that these last chapters were just a ploy . . . a set up for you to try and write some porn-like sex scenes just one more time! But as usual in your Seahurst like style, you are much more of a romantic than a detail girl!
