Stepping back inside the front door, Bette found Tina getting up from the couch with her jacket in one hand and keys in the other. Bettes pulse quickened as their eyes met but less than a second later her heart sank, she knew that look. Whats going on, Tina Bette asked with a calmness in her voice that belied the turmoil that churned within her. Im sorryI shouldnt have come, I dont know what I was thinking Tina said as a frown clouded her features. Well youre here now. Bette retorted as anger rose within her at the thought that Tina might just leave without explanation. And I shouldnt be Tina replied I ruined your evening. Im sorry, Ill go. No Bette replied and then winced at how desperate the solitary word sounded I mean, you cant just show up here in the middle of the night after all this time and leave again without telling me why you came. There was a reason behind this wasnt there? There was some rational thought to letting yourself back into this house and waiting for me to come home. Bettes voice rang out against the silence. I didnt think youd have company. Tina replied quietly as she repeatedly squeezed the keys in her right hand causing them to clink and clatter. Its been ten months, Tina Bette said as she tried to keep calm You moved out of our bed and into Henrys, how long was I supposed to wait? Is there an appropriate amount of time to wait after your partner decides shes actually not gay before youre allowed to move on with your life? You left me and gave me every reason to believe it was forever. Bette was torn between wanting to open the front door and shove Tina through it and wanting to take the woman she still loved most in her arms. Is she your girlfriend? Tina asked. The question caught Bette off guard Noyesshes the only person Im seeing Came her stunted response. Is it serious? Tina asked though it pained her to do so. Bette took a deep breath, this was the second question to which there was no right answer.

B&T have so many issues that they always will hung over them until they will confront them and also until they will know what they want (especially tina)…it’s so upsetting
WTF. Tina intrudes into Bette’s house without a clear explanation for the visit in the first place (just some mumbo jumbo about walking down memory lane while she waited for Bette’s return), and then yells at and blames Bette (yet again) for causing the fall-out of their relationship. What the heck does this woman want? Leave Bette alone and let her live in peace for once. Jeez.
Tina, if you don’t want Henry leave him. Then if you want Bette go back to her. Don’t make Henry the consolation prize. Also, you don’t respect Bette as Angie’s mother if she only gets evey other weekend and you let the baby call Henry Daddy. What did Bette do that was so bad, asked a burning question that you didn’t answer? Bette is left to assume the worst. You did screw Henry in her bedroom, make her take your new family photo then watch you leave with her daughter. How is Bette the bad guy here? You only told her that you thought you’d made a mistake by leaving to toture her, by then you were already out the door again. Is this Love Tina?
Ok what the hell Tina want now and she just keep come back and make Bette sad. Ok post soon please, thanks!

Oh, it is cruel to leave us like this! Can we request more frequent and longer chapters? I loved the B&T in your previous stroies, but I haven’t been able to see any glimpse of that in this current one. And I don’t mean the intensely in love B&T. I understand that they are separated and at odds in this current story, but somehow I am missing the essential characterization that you had nailed previously.
Tina is so fucking infuriating!!! What does she want, seriously? I will pay the next schmoe, person, Daniel or Darcy a million dollars to freaking tell me what this woman wants. Bette should have asked back for her keys…lol Great one Hackgirl
That’s a difficult one i think ! Tina must be torned between her old feelings and the ones that are growing but i really don’t think she is allowed to put faith in Bette like that and just walk away. It is like the stick and the carrot way of being! Like that one Hackgirl !!
It seems to me that both Tina and Bette have still so many issues that need to be resolved between them for either one of them to move on, Tina showing up out of the blue tells me that she is not happy in her current relationship, Bette is still in love with Tina but they are unable to voice this to each other, looking forward to how this story is going to unfold. Thank you.
OK, say it with me: Tina is passive-agressive. Big time. Or just plain wishy-washy. As constant as the breeze. Bette may have been unfaithful for a couple of weeks, Tina’s vacillated for years. Bette better think very hard about how one can safely build foundations on quicksand. Or if that’s even possible. Resuming her date was the best thing she could do.

Why did Tina go there, if not to tell Bette that she is not happy? Is Tina thinking that Bette has finally moved on? These two keep getting their wires crossed and finally need to stop the BS that keeps coming between them.
I still don’t like Abby. lol But at the same time I’m not thrilled that Tina let’s Angelica call Henry “daddy.”
This is why I have problems with tina and her behavior. What does she want?- this is the 1 million dollar question that screams to be answered. Does she have a backbone? Bette should have thrown her out of the house! Please continue!
Got to remember that Micky is around Angie a lot and she picks up on words.and Daddy would be one of them. Its not fsir thst Tina can just walk in and out of Bette home and life when she feels like it. Thanks

Okay…I am just copying what slipperynipple said…Tina is so fucking infuriating!!! What does she want, seriously?!! Okay, this is my own….And, why did she get so mean again with Bette? I can’t imagine anyone NOT being upset if Tina said “You haven’t lost your daughter, Betteâ€, and then admits that she let’s Bette’s daughter call Henry “Daddy.” Tina is incredibly screwed up and needs some help! She is still the passive aggresive slippery slope that she has always been!!!!! Thanks!
Tina is not making friends! Bette has her moments where Tina’s comment about remembering why she left is valid. This would not have been one of them! Push – pull – push – pull , huh, the rope broke? how’d that happen? Well done – still waiting to see how you redeem Tina!
too much issue between them. but i’m forever believing that they are meant to be together.
Gosh, people are really upset with Tina. I imagine Tina is upset with herself and with Bette for causing this nightmare from the beginning. Anger is a wonderful defense mechcanism and Tina uses it well.
