“If somebody loves you…won’t they always love you” chpt.2
“I got it…there…”
thank god the seatbelt snapped right into the latch…I sighed with relief and rolled the window down…god that fresh air felt so good…my meeting was tonight and I didn’t have the slightest idea as to how to get the conversation flowing…besides coming off angry how am I suppose to do this…how about I just let her talk first and then I would respond…I don’t know…Alice then says…
“so…are you meeting Bette tonight?”
I look over at her…the name calling didn’t bothered me as much as it did the other day…I felt a little at piece…I smiled at my friend and said…
“yes…”
Alice steals glimpse from the road and says…
“what are you gonna say to her?”…
I reply saying…
“I don’t know…I figured I’d let her talk first and then go from there…”
I look over and watch her nod her head up and down…we make a right on the street that my job was located on…she pulls up in front of my job..I undo my seatbelt and hug her…I say…
“thanks for the ride…”
she says…
“your welcome…are you going to be okay with getting home this afternoon?”
I close the door and say…
“yeah…I’ll be fine…hey expect me home a little late…I have to go by Bette’s and get some clothes…”
I watch as her face cheers up a bit with a smile…I shake my head and say…
“Al…it’s not what you think…”
she smiles and says…
“well it was good while the moment lasted”
I respond saying…
“I’m sure”
I turn and walk towards the double doors…I exhale before heading inside…
BETTE’S HOUSE…THAT AFTERNOON
I walk down the street towards Bette’s house…it feels as though it was just yesterday when I jogged down this street in my jogging suit…I approach the house where we made love thousands of times…this was the place where she proposed to me and promised me that she would never hurt me…tears slowly begin to weld as I walked closer…I retrieved my key with out picture on it…I glance down at it…we were happy here…these were the times…god…I inhale once I turned the key in the lock…the house had a musty odor to it…Bette wasn’t home otherwise I would’ve of just turned around and went to the opposite way…I made an attempt to walk past all of the dirty dishes in the sink…but I couldn’t do it..I just couldn’t leave the dishes in the sink and ignore them…

it’s always great to get an alternative narrative. thanks for opening up this possibility of an early talk – hope they do really talk.

This is good and now let see Bette and Tina talk!
Lets see how much they can talk without Tina getting angry. thanks
thank you Bette found out by herself and someone didn’t have to tell her, but please Bette I hope you’re not taking this situation lightly
