Alice stood there dumbfounded and incredibly happy at the same time. She looked at Dana again making sure she heard her right, ” I’m sorryummmI’m sorry what did you just ask me?”.
Dana smiled and pulled out a ring from her pocket, ” I saidwill you marry me?”
Alice looked at the ring, it was beautifully simple, she laughed covered her mouth, felt the tears come down, and the questions start coming out of her mouth, ” waitwhat about Wimbledontennis? Babymaybe we should wait?”
Dana smiled at Alice knowing there must have been millions of things going through her head right now. But, Dana didn’t care about anything else right now, all she cared about was Alice. Dana kissed Alice softly to calm her down and it worked, ” Alice, I don’t care about those things, I care about you, tennis has never and will never come before you, my life is with you, and it’s time I start living. Baby, I don’t live a day without you beside me. I’m gonna be dying everyday that I’m out there. I’m not going anywhere, tennis isn’t my calling or whatever the ***** people call it, I meant to be with you, I made the mistake of leaving you once, I’m not doing that again, please baby, I love you so much, let me spend the rest of my life with you, let me spend everyday trying to give you as much love as you give me. That’s what I’m gonna work on now, that’s all I need and want to do now. So I’m gonna ask you one more time, and don’t answer back with a question,” then Dana knelt on the floor and took Alice’s hand, ” Are you gonna marry me or what Alice? Cause honestly I’m dying to find out”.
Alice had begun to cry and she couldn’t hold back anymore. Dana knew this was what she wanted, she knew leaving was not going to do anything for her, that Alice did more for her than anything.
Alice pulled a confused Dana up to her feet, ” yes baby, you know you never needed to ask, I would have spent the rest of my life with you even if you didn’t ask”.

“GIRL LET ME SEE THE BLING!”- I cracked up when I read that line and Danish getting it on in the Planet was too cute. Love them going back to the trails cause apparently Danish always goes up the hills when they need to plan, like Moses.

*sob* I loved it! It was so great! Carmen’s “bling” line cracked me up, and I couldn’t help but laugh at Danish almost getting it on in The Planet. Damn everyone for interrupting them! And Alice with no underwear…yummy. ;) So sweet and romantic – just what I needed today. The only bad part is that it’s the end of the story. Oh well, there’s always my imagination. LOL.
Oh man, I waited forever for the end of this story. SO GREAT! You are such a wonderful writer, so passionate and amazing. I love your stories, and thank you for continuing to right them.
