    after the interrogation .. Bette confesses to Tina

    I’ll tell you the truth

    "they won’t talk to us, you know that!” said the police officer ..

    "yes , I know! But they might talk to each other!” said the detective with a knowing smile on her face ..

    "what do you mean?” the police officer questioned with a puzzled face ..

    "you will see”

    it was the last thing the detective said before leaving her office .. five minutes later she came back followed by Bette protectively holding her partners hand ..

    "please .. set down” said the detective pointing at the two seats in front of her desk ..

    "thank you” said the couple simultaneously ..

    setting down .. the detective started the conversation “I know how much you are going through right now .. and believe me we are not trying to make it harder on you! .. but it’s our job to bring justice to your friend .. and I’m sure you want that for her”

    "we know that .. still we fiend it hard .. and frankly a wast of time that you even suspect we could of harmed jenny .. we’re her friends .. more than that .. we’re her family” said Bette with Tina nodding and confirming every sentence ..

    "I can see how close you all are .. you’re a beautiful family .. specially the two of you .. you share a powerful connection” said the detective smiling at the beautiful couple in front of her ..

    the couple only smiled back at her .. then briefly at each other ..

    "I would hate for this strong connection to be weakened by the secrets you keep from each other” continued the detective .. with a concerned look on her face ..

    Bette reached to Tina’s hand returning to her previous protective state .. asking defensively .. “are you insinuating that one of us killed jenny and is keeping it a secret from the other!”

    "no .. no .. you should know what I’m talking about Bette .. so should you Tina”

    the couple looked at the detective .. trying to read more in her eyes .. they knew what she was talking about .. yet they weren’t sure .. she’s a police officer for god sake why would she be meddling in their personal life .. and doesn’t she have a presumable crime to investigate??
