“I’m sorry; you should never have been here. This is all my fault im going to do everything in my power to help you pull through this. In those 15 minutes she waited it was like an eternity had past. She knew that the chances became slimmer the longer they waited. She was scared of the outcome of this accident and the interrogation that was going to come with it.

This cant be real, “Tina call Alice NOW” her heart pounded as she was unsure if anyone would believe her of the events of that night but knew she could not bail on Olivia like that. She knew that if the tables were turned Olivia would risk it all for her. She prayed to God that night to help Olivia pull through, this was the 1^st time since she was a child she’s prayed to a higher power for help. It was surreal but Helena would try anything to make sure Olivia pulled through.

Two days had past since Olivia was admitted to the hospital, as Helena sat by her side she thought there was no hope of her being able to explain what had happened two days previous. And that her heart belonged to her and for some reason she felt like it always would.

Alice had arrived at the hospital at the same time as Helena and Tina because of how long the paramedics had took to arrive. As Alice comforted her best friend she empathized with how she must be feeling. It was an unfortunate situation for her to be able to meet Helena’s new girlfriend.

There had been no improvement in Olivia’s condition but she was stable so that was vital. No family had visited her although Helena tried to get Olivia’s colleagues to phone her next of kin…but when they had gone through her file all they found was Helena’s number and address. Much to Helena’s amazement, her heart had tingled at the thought that Olivia did love her no matter what she had thought about their on/off relationship.

The last few months had been nothing but one disaster after another it was there Helena pledged to herself that she would come clean to Vanilla about Dusty and then they would be able to start afresh with no secrets. This time it would be the real thing she was willing to risk losing Olivia if that’s what it took because she knew Olivia deserved more than she had been giving.
