It was a rather ordinary day at the hospital. Ashlee was at the cafeteria, getting herself another cup of coffee, her fifth cup. She needed to keep herself awake and alert since she hardly had a wink of sleep from last night.
An intern approached her, “ Doctor Ralston, a patient had requested for you. She’s waiting at the A&E. “
“ Right, I’ll be there in a minute. “ Ashlee nodded, gulping down her coffee.
Once she finished her coffee, Ashlee quickly made her way to the A&E department.
She looked through the medical files as she weaved through the opening of the plain colored privacy curtains.
“ Hello, I’m Doctor Ralston, what can I do for you? “ Ashlee greeted as she continued reading the files.
“ Hello Ashlee. “ the patient responded.
Recognizing the voice, Ashlee bit her lower lip, Oh crap, She thought to herself as she looked up from the file.
Sarah. Sarah was seated on the bed cross-legged, smiling at Ashlee.
Ashlee maintained a doctor-like tone and said, “ Ms Rawley, what can I do for you? “
“ Why are you being so formal? “ Sarah smirked confidently.
“ You’re not even sick, aren’t you? “ Ashlee asked, ignoring Sarah’s question.
“ As a matter of fact, yes. I think that, I’ve twisted my ankle. “
Ashlee walked towards the bed to take a look at Sarah’s ankle. She lifted Sarah’s ankle gently, rotating it slightly.
“ You’ve been avoiding me, haven’t you? “
“ No, that is not true. “ Ashlee responded quickly, avoiding eye contact.
“ I saw you last night, making out with… Oww! “ Sarah yelped in pain.
“ Sorry. “ Ashlee apologized.
“ Pardon me for being nosy but what are you doing here in LA? “ She asked, keeping her attention on Sarah’s swelling ankle
Sarah scooted closer, “ Stop being so formal and look at me. “
“ Look at me, Ashlee. “ Sarah cupped her face, guiding Ashlee’s face closer to hers.
She gazed into Ashlee’s slate gray eyes, “ I am very very sorry for cheating on you. I know it’s hard for you to forgive me but please give me another chance. “

Hello risque, I think this is developing into a really strong story. I think Ashlee is in for a huge surprise if she thinks Sarah is done coming after her, I think this is definitely the best time for her to talk to Helena lay all the cards on the table. They are still so young into this relationship and hiding things like this will only make it harder. HMMMM I can just see Bette showing up to pay Helena a visit at the same time… that would be dynamic… I think that there are still some things left unsaid about the extent of Sarah and Ashlee’s partnership that might bring some more drama… Ashlee seemed really in tuned with Helena’s children… does Sarah have any children :P… Love this story. You did it again! *laughs* Sarah won’t give up this easy, will she? She flew all the way from Miami to L.A….Naaah, she won’t give up.. *winks* I guess there’s a need of some serious talking. But I’m sure Helena’s and Ashlee’s relationship’s pretty strong (though it’s young) and they’ll talk things out… unless Bette pops up… Hmm, thinking about it, DHD1’s suggestion of a simultaneous appearance would be really interesting… But maybe Sarah won’t even let Ashlee leave the hospital ;) However, again great chapter! pps
