*** CHAPTER SEVEN***
TINA’S APARTMENT – 2:00PM
Tina is so excited and a little nervous. “It’s finally here! FRIDAY NIGHT!” Tina says to herself, ‘I’m so glad I decided to leave work early. It’s so cute; Bette’s going to pick me up for our date. I’m glad Bette and I discussed the time of our date this morning. I think 5:00PM is a more reasonable hour to start a date than 7:00PM. Who do we think we’re kidding? … We can’t wait to jump each other!!!! I am sooooo READY!!! … Maybe we can skip dinner? …. I’ll be Bette’s dinner!! Tina get a grip!!! I need a drink! … A nice glass of wine and some cheese and crackers should do the trick. I’ll have the wine and cheese and crackers while I’m taking a relaxing bath. PERFECT! Tina you’re a genius.’
BETTE’S APARTMENT – 2:00PM
Bette’s hanging up the phone as she says to herself; ‘Reservations are checked and confirmed for 5:30PM for dinner for two tonight at Yamatoshi’s in Century City.’ Bette continues her conversation with herself. ‘I’m glad I thought of Japanese food for tonight. I didn’t want anything heavy. Tina’s ‘HOT BABE’ has to be ready for ‘ACTION’ tonight!!! Bette you’re such an idiot! I’m glad Tina isn’t here to see me like this.’
‘Okay let me check my to-do list:’ ‘Dinner reservations –check, washed and gassed up the car – check, strapless black lacy bra and ‘LUCKY’ lacy black thong – check, black 3/4 sleeve silk dress with revealing neckline – laying on the bed – check, diamond necklace and earrings – check, shoes – check, Tina’s gift in my purse – check, one red rose in the refrigerator – check; and last but not least the Hyatt Century Union Hotel, reserved with a bottle of chilled champagne with chocolate covered strawberries, waiting upon arrival – check. I think Ms. Kennard will be impressed! I’m starting to get a little nervous … A nice glass of wine will calm me down. …. And maybe some cheese and crackers will tide me over until dinner. I know what I’ll do. I take a nice relaxing bath while I have my wine and cheese and crackers. Yes, Now your thinking Porter!’

Hey Tdmama, Another great collection of chapters, Bette and Tina were so perfect together. Bette’s date and then bed and shower were hot and intimate. Tina’s date and plans seemed perfect. Then Bette went and blew it all for a phone number and a shallow date with a red-head. I doi hope that she manages to get back into Tina’s good books soon. Sad to see that Bette’s inability to be honest with Tina has driven this wedge between them. I only hope that making up is better than breaking up. Please continue soon. What is wrong with this woman? Is she insane my God who does this after just one night of saying I love you to someone??? She is not normal and she is acting like a baby, my God I don’t know what to say, it’s a little funny after everything I said, your story is addictive dear but this resent event is just unbelievable it was really unexpected but I think that what makes a good story, you never know what to expect, forgive me but ” I’ve been hanging out with a friend of the family. She’s been hanging all over me. I’m trying to let her down gently” was low and cheap coming from Bette after what she shared with Tee, after this chapter I think I like Tina Bette Thanks darling can’t wait for the next up date please make it quick.

Bette is an idiot !! that was going so well in fact perfect and then her demons appear. I hope her friends slap her upside the head and knock some sense into her Great story and so well done .
