Danny sympathizes with Tina.  “I hear what you’re saying.  I’m only doing this job so I can pay my bills.  During the day I go on auditions.  I’m an actor by day.”

Tina acts impressed.  “Wow, that is so cool!  (Danny sees that he has impressed this girl)  But how do you make ends meet?  I didn’t think hospital’s paid that much.  Do you have to have a second job?”

Danny explains.  “Nah, you can make a ton of money here doing favors and things for people and the Paparazzi too.”

Tina is going to bate him. (This guy is an amateur.)  “Making an extra $5 or $10 bucks a pop doesn’t cut it for me.”

Danny says.  “I made a $100 tonight and all I had to do was put a piece of plastic on this bed.”  (He points to Bette’s bed.)

Tina responds by staying cool,  “You’re kidding me?  How did you luck into that easy job?  I could sure use an extra $100 bucks.”

Danny continues.  “Well people just come up to me and ask me to do things for them.  I guess they can tell I’m really smart.”  (Tina nods in agreement while trying not to laugh.) Danny continues,  “I noticed this guy sitting in the waiting room, he was in there for at least an hour.  I noticed he was watching me work, and every time I looked his way he smiled and nodded.  As I was getting ready to take the dirty laundry downstairs he approached me and asked me to do him a favor.  It was that easy.”

Tina smiles.  “Do you think he’ll be here again today?  Maybe I could do something for him.  I have nothing else to do.”

Danny hesitated for a minute, while looking at Tina’s eyes, he is deciding if he should tell her more?  “Gee I don’t know if I want to split a good thing with you?”

Tina thinks quickly.  “Hey Danny I have an idea.  I’m a receptionist at Paramount Studios maybe I can get you in to see a casting director?  I could talk to the receptionist in that department and see if she could sneak you in.” (Danny is paying very close attention now.)  Danny I make $9.00 an hour.  I could sure use the money.  I’m hoping one day to be a screenplay writer.”
