Tina reaches for the earring in Bette’s hand as she does Bette’s fingers gently close around Tina’s fingers.

‘So soft’ Tina thinks ‘Oh god and she smells so good.’ her heart races.
Bette is so close that Tina can feel her breath against her left cheek.
Tina looks from her hand to Bette’s eyes and as she does Bette leans in a places a soft kiss on Tina’s lips. Tina’s eyes close as she enjoys the sensation on her lips and the closeness of Bette’s body to hers. When she opens her eyes she sees that Bette is softly offering a smile. Tina smiles back shyly.

Bette slowly backs away from Tina and sits on the edge of her desk and takes Tina’s left hand into both of hers.

“I’ve wanted to do that since the moment I laid eyes on you.” Bette confesses with a smile.

“You have?” Tina replies

“Yes, I really have, don’t tell me that you couldn’t feel it. I was also sensing that it wasn‘t one sided. Am I correct?” she smiles at Tina as she caresses Tina’s hand. Tina looks down at their hands.

“Yes, you‘re correct”. Tina whispers

“What was that? What did you say?” as she take one hand to Tina’s chin and gently lifts her to face her directly. And runs her index finger along Tina’s jaw line. She says “You sure are beautiful.”

“Thanks you and I said Yes, you’re correct…it wasn’t one sided. I wanted to kiss you too but….”

“No buts…” Bette stands up again takes Tina’s other hand now they’re holds both hands together “Tina”

“Yes”

“May I kiss you again?”

“Please do” Tina grins

They both slowly lean in towards one another as their hearts race. Their lips touch the softness and warmth cause them both to melt. They move even closer together, Bette moves first. She takes her right arm and reaches around Tina to pull her into a hug. Bette’s tongue slips out from between her lips they tickle Tina’s lips and she relaxes into the kiss and opens her mouth to welcome Bette’s warm, wet and tasty tongue. Tina reaches up to Bette’s neck to deepen the kiss even further as she becomes aroused by the kiss of this woman.

Tina is the first to pull away.

“I’m sorry. Are you okay?” Bette says.

“Yes I’m okay it’s just…. Oh it’s nothing.”

Bette thinking about Eric, “Oh my god I’m sorry. Maybe we should have talked first.”

“Talked about what?” Tina inquires

“Your boyfriend Eric“.

“He isn’t my boyfriend anymore.”

“Since when?”

“Since this morning”

“Wow, if you don‘t mind me asking what happened?”

“I told him that I wanted to see other people.”

“And he couldn’t handle it?”

“No, he can handle it. He just assumes that there is some man out there that I’m interested in that doesn’t want to share with me. I let him believe what he wants about it. Because he has it partially correct ”

“He is, what part?”

“My interest, but it’s me who doesn’t want to share or be shared.”

“And what part does he have incorrect?”

Tina looks down and says “That would be the part about it being a man that I’m interested in.”

Bette lifts Tina’s chin again and smiles. “Tina your words are like music to my ears.” she places another small kiss on Tina’s lips. Tina smiles back. Tina are you free this evening to share dinner with me? I would really like to get to know you if you would allow me to?”

“Uh… first I need to tell you something”

“What is it?” smiling at Tina

“I’ve never been with a woman or in a relationship like that with a woman.”

“And?”

“And? Are you okay with that?”

“Tina, that is the last thing that concerns me at the moment. I just can’t let this opportunity go. I sense you as something so special that I don’t want to bypass. So how about dinner with me as soon as I finish up here. Maybe another thirty minutes or so?”

“I would love to.” Tina smiles
