            Yes, I knew that when I would break up with her that I would want to leave as soon as possible. I knew I would not be able to stay here. So I got a job interview, I pretty much waited until the last minute to tell all you guys, because I knew it would be to hard.

            Why did you not talk to me? Tell me your fears. I am here for you. Shane saw the tears in Alices eyes.

            Because everyone was so happy again. I did not feel like bring everyone down again.

            You could never do that. You are family. Shane said holding a crying Alice. Shane sat there holding her, thinking that Dana better get some sense and figure away to show Alice the love sooner than later. Because once Alice was gone she was gone, and Shane hated knowing that.

            Lara made sure that Dana was asleep before she left. She knew that all of Danas friends had probably talked to Alice, but she needed to. She needed to tell Alice that she was being stupid.

            Lara knocked at Alice door, as Alice opened it she put on a polite smile.

            Lara? Alice said in surprise that the chef would be standing at her door.

            Alice, I know that you probably do not want to talk with me. But I have to talk to you.

            Okay, come in. Alice was not in the mood to talk, but the plea in Laras eyes made her say yes. Have a seat, I am sorry, but I do not have anything to drink.

            Its okay I will just take a few minutes of your time.

            Okay.

            I can not take care of Dana for you.

            Why not? Alice asked confused and hurt.

            Because I can not take care of her the way that you can. She loves you, not me. I know that and I am hurt that you would ever think that I would take her from you.

            LaraI Alice was stunned by the words she was hearing.

            I am here just to tell you that you are being stupid, and hopefully help you see that. She is yours, always was; always will be. Even when were dating I knew she belonged to you. Do not leave, it will kill her. I know that it is killing you. With that Lara turned to leave with Alice standing there with tears in her eyes. It felt so surreal to her. Everyone was saying it to her, but she did not believe them. But it was too late, Alice told herself. She already hurt Dana to much to turn back. She had to leave.

            Lara! Alice yelled out.

            Yes Lara said turning around to face a teary eyed Alice.

            Just…Please just take care of her.

            Sure Lara said to hurt to realize that Alice might not change her mind. Alice shut her door to her apartment. Shut it on this conversation. Alice was being stupid, and Alice knew it.
