“Come here baby girl and  sit on your Aunty Kit’s lap… you can talk to me”

“ So…” ,Angelica continued,   “after it got quiet, I thought that mom had left, I was about to go downstairs and ask  mama T why she and mom did not get along  when I saw them…they were making out on the floor in front of the fire place…I didn’t look Aunty Kit ,I swear I just went right back in my room.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         “They were what?” Kit was shocked, she really needed to talk to her baby sis, she was shocked at Angie’s little revelation…I’ll be damned, she thought  ,I really need to talk to Bette…my baby sis has been holding out on me…I wonder what else she has been hiding?…I sure hope they know what they are doing…,for Angie’s sake they had better be damn ….but she was interrupted from her thoughts again…this time by a bombshell

“So Aunty Kit”,  Angie was saying   “who is Candace?”

Kit almost spilled the contents of her coffee mug on her lap…  “w-h-a-t  do you mean who is Candace? Where did you hear that name?  who  told you about her?”

Angie began looking puzzled when she saw her Aunt’s reaction when she mentioned the name…why is my Aunt acting so weird ?, she’s freaking me out…grownups are so weird… “did  I say something wrong?”  she asked her Aunt.

Why? Kit thought ,of all the weekends did she have to choose this one ,when she was with her to mention Candace…and how did she know Candace in the first place.

   ‘ Aunt Kit ,I asked what was wrong…you look like you’ve seen a ghost… ‘   

Baby girl I’m fine. It’s just that I haven’t heard that name in so long you surprised me that’s all…tell me ,how do you know Candace? 

“I overheard aunty Shane and Aunt Alice talking, and Aunt Alice said that if it wasn’t for Candace my moms would still be together…then she said she blamed mama B more because she was the one with the family. “

“She said that…,did she “ .

“Yup and then they  saw me and she stopped talking…”

Wow Kit thought…this mess is Bette’s and Tina’s to clean up ,but I’m sure Bette is going to be cleaning the floor with somebody’s face first.

“Go get cleaned up Kit told Angie ,your mom should be picking you up any minute now”.

After Angie left the room Kit took out her cell and made a call. After Bette answers Kit got straight to the point…”you sound very happy this morning, but I don’t know

how long that’s gonna last after you get here…so I suggest you get that beautiful ex of yours to come with you and what ever it is that you had planned for Angie today you scrap it…you and Tina need to have a serious talk with your daughter…Before Bette could say anything the line went dead.

what the fuck was that all about…can i just wake up one morning and have a normal day.she picks up her car keys the same time she flips her cell open to make a call…
