Chapter 13: “They’re enough to give us hope”

The band began to play ‘I Will Always Love You’ one more time. Bette looks at Tina and smiles then looks at the empty dance floor. She stands up. Tina looks up at her.

“Where you going” Bette looks at Tina with a mischievous grin on her face. She holds out her hand and Tina blushes fiercely

“May I have this dance” Tina smiles and looks at Bette lovingly as she takes her hand. Bette leads her out onto the dance floor. Tina puts her arms around Bette’s neck as Bette puts her arms around Tina’s waist and they begin to sway gently to the music. They never break eye contact “I missed you so much” Tina smiles gently and lovingly “When Alice came round and give me the note I thought the worst” Tina gulps hard. ‘What must have been going through her head’ Bette pulls Tina in closer to her. Tina closes her eyes and takes in the close contact. Their bodies were touching and it sent a wave of desire through both women

“I’m sorry I put you through so much” Bette kisses Tina’s forehead. Her skin so was soft under Bette’s lips. It took Bette all her self control not keeping kissing Tina and not just on the forehead “I promise I will never hurt you like that again” Bette looks at Tina. She could tell she meant it, her eyes were filled with love, passion and hurt. Bette kisses Tina lightly on the lips

“I know you won’t” Tina smiles at Bette with a loving gaze before she rests her head in the crook of Bette’s neck as they continue to sway to the music. Eric, Peggy and Helena smile as the destined couple fade into their own world. It gave them all hope of finding the one they were destined to be with.  

Meanwhile back in LA; Alice, Dana, Shane and Kit are sitting around their usual table at the Planet. They were waiting for news of Bette and Tina

“Do you think they’re going to be together when they come back to LA?” Alice, Kit and Shane look at Dana with worried looks. Tina was adamant that she didn’t want Bette going after her
