Birds began chirping softly, as the first rays of the morning began to peak through the bedroom window. Bette was lying on her side watching Tina sleep. She loved to watch Tina sleepto gaze upon such an angelic face in the mornings always brought a smile to her face. After hanging up the phone she quickly phoned Tinas office. She knew that Tinas secretary Kim would be in early.

Hi Kim, its Bette.
Oh hey Bette what can I do for you?
Well Tinas not feeling to well today and I was calling to let you know that she wont be in. Can you please check her calendar and make the necessary changes?
Oh sure Bette, Ill clear her calendar right away. Is she alright?
Yeah Im sure shes just got a 24 hour bug or something.
Well please tell her that I said that I hope she feels better.

Okay one more call Bette thought to herself. She called Alice to let her know that everything was fine and that Tina was safe. After listening to a bit of Alices rants about not ***** up again, and answering a million questions, Alice was satisfied. Bette asked Alice about the weekend plans and said that they should all go out together, since both Bette and Tina had been too busy lately to spend time with the family. They talked a bit about the possibilities before agreeing to a night out at Milk later that weekend, Al said that she would call everyone and set the time.

After hanging up with Al, Bette walked out to the garden to pick a rose that had newly bloomed that she had seen through the window while on the phone. She crept quietly throughout the house and back into the bedroom. Tina was still laying in bed, fast asleep, Bette stood in the doorway for a moment, taking in all of her breath taking beauty. She looked so peaceful as the warm glow of the morning sun gently bounced off of her body, giving her a radiant glow. Bette gently climbed back into bed besides Tina, complete happiness and love filled her body as she looked at her wife sleeping. Bette stood up to leave, pouting playfully.

Oh no you dont Porter. If Im not going to be able to spend time with you next week, then Im going to take advantage of what ever time I have now.
Bette turned and playfully looked at Tina before leaning in to kiss her.
I thought youd see it my waynow Im going to take a shower before breakfast, then we can decide what to do today.

Bette slowly and sultrily walked toward the bedroom door before turning looking back, giving Tina a wink. Tina was on her feet and after Bette in no timeshe was going to take every advantage of Bettes surprise day off and she meant EVERY advantage.
