“You already know.”
“No, I don’t.” Tina played coy.
“You just want to hear me say it..” Bette pointed out, knowing that despite her nonchalant exterior, the blonde immensely enjoyed hearing her say that she loved her.
“Say what?”
“Kennard..”
“Say what, Porter?”
Bette sighed. “Guess.”
“Hmm.. how many letters?”
“Four.”
“Hate?”
“Sometimes, but no.”
“Like?”
“Nope.”
“Love?” Tina guessed, smiling broadly.
“No.”
“No?” The blonde’s expression soured. Well that was a let-down. “What is it?”
“Fuck.”
“…”
“Or.. bonk.”
“…”
“Shag.”
“…”
“Mate.”
“…”
“Bang.”
“…”
“Hump.”
The blonde sighed deeply after a brief bout of silence from Bette’s end. “You done?”
“I also wanted to say screw, but then it has five letters not four. So yeah, I think I’m done.. unless.. you want to add something yourself?”
“No.”
“Okay.” Bette shrugged.
“Porter?”
“Yeah?”
“You’re feeling amorous this morning, huh?”
“I’m always feeling amorous.”
“Oh yes, right. For a moment there I forgot that you’re a horn dog.”
“Back at you, love. Takes one to know one.”
Tina loudly sucked in air, pretending to be appalled. “Did you just call me a horn dog?”
“Not a horn dog, more like a bitch.” Bette smirked deviously. “My bitch.”
“And that makes it better.” Tina rolled her eyes.
“You bet it does.” Bette answered smugly, teasingly. She smiled at Tina’s grunt of mock displeasure before letting out a long, lazy yawn.
“You still sleepy?”
“Yeah, pretty much.” Bette yawned again and grabbed the end of the comforter which was resting near her hip with her free hand and tugged it up to her neck. Cozy with the warmth that overwhelmed her body, she released yet another hearty yawn.
“Poor baby..” Tina cooed, pandering to the sleepy brunette.
“Says the woman who woke me up in the first place..” Bette sighed.
Tina answered with a small chuckle. She let a moment of silence pass before speaking up again. “Babe?”
“Hm?” Bette answered groggily, still keeping her eyes tightly shut despite carrying a conversation with Tina. Damn, after struggling to fall back asleep after that dream of hers and having it rudely interrupted by her girlfriend when it finally came, her body and mind felt sluggish and slow.

you made it so very worth the wait!and you gave a lovely blend of humor and drama surrounding Bette’s dilemma…no surprise that there is alot of gold inside that heart, but thank you for taking us on the journeyto Bette’s maturing!! And special thoughts for “…” still my favorites!!
Yes it’s been a long time coming. But thanks for the chapter. I loved how Bette was finally about to work through her feeling and open up to Tina. She has grown. And I am glad that Tina chose to support her and not be selfish. That has to be a hard place to be when you sense someone is wanting your partner. Tina will has to gain own sense of self confidence to have peace about the situation.
With the beautiful story, it is wroth the wait:) so glad Bette decided to stay by Jill & Tina supported her decision, pls post soon cos I can’t wait for the Snow, friends, love and saving.

Tks for the update, I can’t say that I’m not worried about how Jill will effect their relationship. You are right though, Bette has matured and grown as a human being and she couldn’t do that to Jill. I only hope that she is also wise enough to eventually see that Jill is in love with her and they will eventually end their “friendship” it’s hard to stay friends when the one you love knows how you feel and they don’t feel the same. Can’t wait for another update!!!!
Bette is more preoccupied with Jill’s feelings not of what It Jingles, and that hurts very much for Vat, I sinceramento wait that that is not going to give any more problems predict.So I am thinking what Jill’s father only is going to Carry out the contract in exchange for something more. Is it and Now It and Now It Has????? I hate drama please a little of novel, Bette is very distant of Vat.

Bette and Tina are growing up. Tina may not like it, but in the long run Bette and Tina will be stronger because of this decision.

ALCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read this earlier but didn’t have time to comment because I was supposed to be somewhere at that time. But I made the fatal mistake of checking in since I had five minutes to kill. I totally screwed myself and was an hour late, oh well no harm done, and they still love me. Thanks so much for posting been a long time, but well worth the wait. I was laughing my ass off from the hair thing and people kept asking me what was so funny because I kept picturing Bette as Amy Winehouse. I hope Tina has a change of heart toward Jill, I actually like the poor girl, and it’s your fault alchy. I just hope Jill can move on from there. Thanks for the post alchy, awesome.
