“Buh, Ah toh-ld in my lettah-er whuh Ah wahnt.
Bette caressed Tina’s shoulder. “Judge Marcos, that ass, wanted to flex a little legal muscle. Seriously. He shouldn’t have ruled the way he did.” Bette sliced the air with her hand in dismissal. “But as I was saying, we’ve been working with an old Medical Power of Attorney and that’s the problem. We had been estranged; I hadn’t known about the baby; you were seeing someone else. Sure, those documents could be contested, but if we did new ones, thus circumventing and essentially overriding the Medical and Legal Power of Attorney documents we did in 2001, those would count. Those would take precedent over the old ones. Do you see where I’m going with this?”
“Yeah-ah.” Tina nodded. “Then no prah-buh-lem.”
“No problem at all.”
“This is our decision. Courts can’t intervene when we’re dealing with competent adults. We have new Powers of Attorney drawn up by Whit, have them witnessed, and notarized. Judge Marcos’ ruling becomes moot. Not only that, but Whit is going to file a complaint against Marcos. I don’t know how far that will go, but he thinks that Marcos was dead wrong all the way around.”
“When do we do it?” Tina yawned.
“On Monday. Not only that, but I’m going to get Henry McPherson to put his stamp of approval on the whole thing, too.”
“Then you woe-‘ent go on yo-ah rrretreat.” Tina blinked several times as the medication started to take over.
“I’m thinking I should go just in case I’m wrong about something. I’ll talk to Whit tonight or tomorrow about it. We’ll come here on Monday, take care of it, he’ll file whatever he needs to file, and furthermore, your sister isn’t around to stymie us.”
Tina nodded in agreement. “The rrr-retreat will be goo’ fuh you.”
“Why do people keep telling me that?” Bette laughed.
“Maybe you auh naht the mystuh-ry you think you auh.” Tina grinned at her. “Ah love you, Beh-ette.”
Bette took her hand, brought it to her lips, and kissed it. “I guess Angelica and I should find Theresa and get home. We’re going to have a busy day tomorrow.”
“I wi-ish the day wou’ naht end.”
“It-it was the best day, wasn’t it?” Bette stared at her. “Tee, I could pick out any minute of today with you and say it was the perfect minute. I’m so glad that-that we really talked and that we’re better than we were before, I think. Huh?”
“Yeah-ah.”
“We have trust again and respect.”
“Hahpiness.”
“Everything we should have.” Bette’s gaze drifted from Tina’s brown eyes to her lips and Bette leaned in and kissed her.
“Beh-ette?”
“Yeah, Tee?”
“Wi-lll you stay wif-th me fuh a wah-el?”
“Yeah, baby.”
“Kiss me ‘til I fall asleep?”
Bette didn’t answer. Instead she leaned forward, touched her lips gently to Tina’s, then kissed her in a way that Tina knew that she’d belong to Bette always.

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
