“Stop it, Bree! God damn it, you’re my little sister…..” Sabrina laughed ruefully.
“Yeah, my big brother, the protector – fuck you, Marky…” Sabrina opened the door and then slammed it shut again, turning to face him. “Where were you Mark, when I was 12 and dad decided that I should take mom’s place? Huh? Where were you?” Sabrina asked. Mark blinked, not understanding what she was talking about? “Were you out playing football? Were you out with your camera and your doped up friends? Is that where you were? Aunt Marg knew it was going on, that’s why she kept Veronica in her room. She banished you to the attic so you wouldn’t hear me cry. Where was my big brother to protect me then huh?” Sabrina asked him in a cold voice.
“Bree I have… No…”
“Idea? No, you wouldn’t. You were too wrapped up in Mark to notice. Do you even care about these women? Do you? Or are they an end to a means? All Mark thinks about is Mark. Where were you when I landed on the streets of LA at 16, got married under a fake name at 17 to a guy who was WORSE than dad. Where were you then? Still wrapped up in Mark! So don’t talk to me about being my older brother!” Sabrina raged, the pain in her voice made Carmen wither and Shane started to feel the tears in her eyes. Mark swallowed, understanding why she’d run away and why she hadn’t come back for their father’s funeral.
“Bree, I didn’t know…” Mark swallowed, getting up off the chair.
“You didn’t care. Don’t worry about me; I’m fine now Mark, I don’t need saving anymore. I’m not a scared little girl anymore; I’ve reclaimed my life. Now YOU need to help YOUR friend do the same. Get her some help, and lord help her if she gets as deep as I did.” Sabrina slammed the front door and none of them moved.

No smart ass remarks, no alluding to what is going to happen. Things get serious, and at one point, deadly. Still in for the ride? There is the whole commando thing though… yeah, y’all are gonna like that….
Angel Jade still in the closet, needing to find a new place to hide since my MOMS are checking up on me every ten minutes…. Still B & T’s daughter, and still promising you the romance you never thought possible….

YAY!!!! I was thrilled to wake up on this Sunday morning to a post by the ROGUE! You cracked me up with your author notes. GHIII while under the influence. God I would have loved to have seen that happen!! No worries though, Ness may have taken advantage of the situation and put ya to shame, but me? Nope, you STILL would have left me in the dust, drunk and all! ~~ Okay, the story…WOW. I jumped between the serious parts, some laughter, back to the serious. I love the way you write, with so much description. You can see the picture you paint before you. Jenny, damn…she is so messed up eh? I felt bad for Sabrina’s situation, obviously Mark was oblivious to it all, and it remains a huge wedge between them. I was happy that she could help Jenny though. As for Bette staying at home. I am thrilled to get to read another chapter of your brilliant story. The whole situation with Jenny is so scary, I hope that they can get her some good help. Poor Dana I am so not sure what is going to happen with our threesome. I am very intrigued to see Tina at work. Bette, Tina, and AJ true family love I can’t wait to see Bette pulling her hair out without work or will she become the uber Mom with a bazillion classes and play dates???? LOL!
