                “Love you,” said Tina offhandedly and Bette was sure she’d hung up before Bette was able to say anything.

     

                “Girl, what is going on with you and Tina?” asked Kit seriously.

               

                “We are farther apart now than when she was in a coma,” said Bette, sitting down on the couch, sighing softly.  “How are things with you and Marina?”

     

                “Hmmmm,” said Kit with a grunt.  “She’s cleaning money for the mob. I don’t want nothing to do with it and neither does Marina.  You know why her sister gallantly took Jenny away for some rest and relaxation?”

     

                “No, why?” asked Bette seriously.

     

                “She’s holding her hostage so that Marina remembers where her place is.  It seems her place is right under that blonde bitch’s, excuse your aunt’s language little one, thumb.  Marina is a basket case and I don’t know what to do.  I’m thinking of burning the place down so that Marina has a way out.”

     

                “There has to be a better way,” said Bette, her mind reeling at the thought of Jenny being held hostage.  “If we call the police…”

     

                “Bette, we call the cops and the only one hurt is going to be Marina, we got no proof….”

     

                “But, we, could do something about it,” mused Bette, her mind reeling with the possibilities of what could come next, adventure, having something to do was foremost on her mind.  “Call the girls and get them all over here, we’re going to rescue Jenny.”

                How bored do you think Mama B is right now?  She’s willing to go rescue JENNY!  From  some villa in the middle of nowhere, I mean, seriously?  My mom, the ART woman, wants to go on a rescue MISSION.  Cue the Mission Impossible music please…..

     

                I’d still go gay for 13…..

                Dana, Alice, Lara, Kit, Marina, Shane, Mark and Carmen were all sitting in Bette’s living room as Bette paced. Carmen was sipping on a beer, relaxed.  Mark was worrying a fingernail and rubbing his scruffy beard.  Shane was also relaxed, her lips pouty.  Marina was pacing the floor along with Bette; they’d meet and then continue walking across the hard wood floor.  Kit was eating a hot fudge sundae.  Lara was sitting on the couch between Alice and Dana, who weren’t talking to each other. “I think there might well be a way of kidnapping Jenny back,” stated Bette.

    2. This story is like reading the Sunday funnies! You are much too good at this JR. So…surly Bette wouldn’t make the same mistake as she did before with Jo. Maybe Tina needs to pay a little more attention to Bette!

    4. Bette and Tina fighting bad…Tina ignoring Bette and her feelings bad…Finding and rescuing Jenny good (cause you know it will be entertaining)…Now if only we could get Tina to slow the hell down so Bette could talk to her that would be good…AJ’s commentary FANTABULOUS

    5. I love the humor JR., just like e., it gave me some chuckles early this morning. Man, everyone is pissed at each other. It will interesting to see how you will make them one, big, happy family again. Sam straight!…No way, you definitely have to do something about that.

    6. There were so many comedic moments it brought a smile to my face so early in the AM.Bette and Tina fighting is never a good thing indeed.Maybe Bette needs to flirt and work with Jo to get T’s attention.As far as being in the spotlight next sunday do I hear a barrage of questions being thrown my way.I say bring it on.

    7. it is so funny either they are all happy or all fighting,lol… well bette and this rescue mission,lol.i agree bette and tina fighting isn’t a good thing and since bette was flirting with jo the last time they met, i doubt tina would get jealous just yet….ya know angie needs to be careful in shane closet,lol..

    8. Great chapter. I think it is funny that B&T are fighting. They are both so out of their element that of course there is going to be tension. Alice and Dana are also too funny. REALLY!!!! Not talking to each other??? Come on girls, lighten up!!! Anyway JR, we will have to get on and play again, it was a bunch of fun. TTYL
