    Letting It Lie (1)

"I’ll do it," Bette smiled sweetly, still staring at Tina, "But on one condition."

    Rick looked to her, confused.

    "You see Rick … I’m a lesbian."

    He nodded.

"Yes. Well you see … I’d love to … experience your wife here, but I’m afraid it would be out of the question for you to … join."

He looked hurt, and Bette wanted to laugh, but she couldn’t. "But …"

"I thought you wanted your WIFE to experience something new," Bette stated, knowing he had his selfish desires at the forefront. "And so this would be something new."

He thought about the opportunity, and couldn’t let it slip by. He got hot just thinking about Tina with another woman. "I’ll just watch."

Bette smiled. She couldn’t believe he so easily agreed to let a complete stranger touch his wife. Well, a stranger to him. Her infamous grin slipped out – the one that slipped out when she was getting exactly what she wanted.

Tina was watching them speak together, and smiled at Bette’s grin. Oh how she had missed that.

"Well, then it’s settled," he smiled.

"Tina?" Bette asked, trying to follow the woman’s trance-like stare. "It’s only settled if you say it is."

Rick was taken aback by the way she talked to his wife. He was confused, looking over to Tina with quirked eyebrows.

Tina smiled at the way Bette had said that, trying to hide her excitement. "Umm … yeah?"

"It is settled?" Bette asked seductively, walking over to the blond as she stared openly at her. She traced her finger along Tina’s arm and that sent chills through both women. The first physical contact in years.

"Yes," Tina breathed, letting her heart speak for her.

"Then it’s settled," Bette smiled, putting her glass down before turning back to Rick. "I’ll see you two later in the week then, right? That is what you had planned, right Rick?"

Tina looked to him with controlled anger. He had planned another meeting without her agreement? She knew Bette had worded it like that to show her what an ass her husband was for leaving her out of his plans, but she wanted to pretend it didn’t affect her, so she kept her temper in.

Bette could see Tina struggle with her emotions and decided to take her leave. "Have a nice day," she smiled with a small wave, closing the door behind her. She walked so confidently, every movement completely fluid. Tina wondered how one person could be so graceful before being snapped out of her thoughts by Rick’s celebratory attitude.

"Yes!" he laughed, setting down his glass as well before pulling Tina into his embrace. "This is going to be so perfect."

Tina sighed into the hug, half-heartedly responding with her hands on his shoulders. She looked over to the door with an odd feeling in her stomach. She wanted to be with Bette, but was this a good idea? She felt guilty that she hadn’t told him the mystery girl was her ex-lover. ‘This is so wrong,’ Tina thought to herself with a frown as she pulled back from the hug.

"Maybe we shouldn’t do this," she proposed, using all of her willpower to try to do what was right. She wanted him to see the struggle behind her eyes, but he seemed to be on a high.

"Oh Tina, don’t be silly," he smiled, taking in a deep breath, "This is gonna be great and you know it."

She watched him walk down the hall, before letting her eyes fall to the floor. A large stream of thoughts were racing through her mind, and she mumbled to herself in the quiet of her loneliness. "That’s what I’m afraid of."

    1. Oh boy.. you had me worried.. But I hopeful that this will turn out right! Please let Rick be one of those ***hole guys who ask their wives to experiment for their own selfish enjoyment and then lose their wives because their wives enjoy it way more.. =D Oh well, there’s promise in this story, PPS! =)

    2. Glad to see you back, I’ve been waiting for something to read. I hope Tina will have her bags packed and be ready to leave with Bette next time. WHY did she marry that bag of shit?

    3. Rick may be a prick, but Bette and Tina are playing their own part in this up coming “get together.” Let’s imagine Bette and Tina are together and it’s Bette who arranges for a man to come to their home. We would all be up in arms trying to protect Bette if that man was Tina’s ex husband and neither one of them told Bette about it. Just saying….:-) Thanks…this is interesting.

    4. This is very interesting! I just wonder if at anytime during the marriage when she had told him she had been with women, if she ever mentioned Bettes’ name and being the prick that he is, he just forgot who it was that she was with. Or maybe he remembered but thinks he is such a stud that it wouldn’t matter that he asked Bette to come into their home for such a purpose. As bad as I hate to see either of them used in this respect, Rick must be careful what he asks for because he will get it. Some men are such fools and Rick is supreme in that respect, the nerve of him planning something like this without asking Tina before hand. It also bothers me that Tina did not object even before she knew it was Bette, that really bothers me. Whether she knows it or not she is being abused by that damned idiot. I hope her bags are packed to leave this idiot even if it is not with Bette, she needs to get out of there before he pulls something even more sinister. With an arrogant idiot like that you never know what will happen. I’ll get off my soapbox now. Thanks for posting.
