    Life: Altered 03.12 ~*~ Breathe In, Breathe Out

                Dana shuffled her feet as Tonya stared at her from across the room her
    arms crossed in waiting.  Waiting for an
    answer to the question, she’d asked 20 times now during the course of the day
    together.      Dana     had rejected answering it, but now, now,
    she had too.  It was time.

                “Dana, sweetie we need to decide this right
    now.  Either we are getting married or
    not.  I sincerely hope that its yes.  You asked me to be with you forever, and I’m
    willing to do that.  I want to do that.  You keep putting this off, and it is killing
    me that you are doing this.  I
    disregarded your date with     Lara    ; I even hired her at the Planet because that is
    business and this is love.  But now, now
    I need to know.”      Tonya     said twisting the engagement ring on her
    finger, she watched as     Dana     moved around the room, unsure of herself.  So unlike the woman on the tennis court, who’s
    every move was close to perfection, filled with grace.

                “I can’t.”  Dana said softly and Tonya swallowed loudly blinking back the tears
    that were forming in her eyes.  She’d
    been prepared for this, she had been, but now it was real, the words had been
    said.

                “Ok.  We can give this a bit more time.  The sponsors are clambering for something, but
    I can put them off….”  Tonya     began trying to convince Dana and herself that is wasn’t over.  They hadn’t had ***** in weeks and now Dana was even bulking at holding hands in
    public.

                “No, I mean I can’t at all.  Ever.  I.  I
    adore you; I love how you make me feel.  You
    make me feel safe, and I don’t want love to be safe, or comfortable.  I want it, I need it to be dangerous or it
    isn’t worth it.  I want that risk, as
    crazy as that might sound.  So, I’m
    taking the summer off and I’m going to take care of Shane     when she gets out of the hospital.”  Dana announced and Tonya blinked, her mouth making a little ‘O’ as she sat in astonishment, Dana moving around the room getting things
    from her dresser.

                “Dana, you can’t.  You have to train you have to be ready.  You are in the big show this year. Dana!  The
    Australian Open!”      Tonya     said and Dana was shaking her head, not listening at
    all to what she was saying, because she’d known this was what she’d have said.  She’d have deterred her from doing what she
    felt she needed to do for her friend.

    3. Tina w/ Cassandra, Bette w/ Candace excellent pairings. Tina & Bette seem to function better w/ other people. I may be one of the few people who liked the character of Candace. I would like to see where you take this couple. Poor Shane hope she sends Steve’s ass to jail. Guess Cherie hasn’t visited (if she’s still alive), not surprised she was all about self.

    4. OH what a nice way to wipe the day out of my mind, I see I have a lot of JM reading to catch up on. OK and bette smells like wood LMAO!!! that was fucking hilarious. Alrighty off to read your other story.

    5. I feel so sad about Shane!!! She could talk to Bette and showed her that she made a big mistake!! I’d like Tina does not cheat Bette before she find out her infidelity. And I still want Bette feels a lot of guilty and pain!!!Nice post!!!
