    Jenny, Marina and… guest Tim

                “These have sentimental value.”  She shot back, and Tim nodded, the cute smile playing on his
    lips.

                “Oh right, from the 1900′s.”  Tim quipped and Jenny gave him a playful slap on his arm, and
    he smiled.  Nodding again, rubbing his
    hands on his jeans as he tried to reconnect with     Jenny.

                “So you and Marina huh?” 
    He asked and     Jenny sighed, he waved a hand.  “No, hey I’m over it.  I, I sort of found someone in Florida.” 
    He admitted and     Jenny‘s eyes went wide, he bit his lip and she nodded.



                “Oh. 
    I’m very happy for you     Tim.”  Jenny said, taking his hand and smiling,
    beaming actually and     Tim grinned also.

                “Her name is Mila, really
    sweet and…”  He began;     Jenny waved a hand.
                “I don’t need to know…”      Jenny said, her voice playful and serious at the same time,
    Tim nodded, understanding.

                “Things are good?”  He asked, genuinely wanting to know.  He’d thought a lot about Jenny in the last few months, wondering what
    he’d done to drive her into the arms of another woman.

                “Yes, I’m writing every day,
    I’m taking classes.  I’m feeling good,
    you know.  About everything.”  She admitted and he nodded again, they were
    doing a lot of nodding tonight.

                “I was thinking, how about we
    go out, to celebrate out divorce?”      Tim asked, Jenny gave him an odd look, and then she
    laughed.

                “Isn’t that morbid?”  She asked and he shook his head, the hair
    falling into his eyes, and     Jenny noticed how much more muscular he was.

                “No way, come on.  We agreed, we could still be friends, have
    dinner with me.  Thursday night?”      Tim asked, Jenny grinned.

                “All right, Thursday night it
    is.”

                Thursday Night

                Jenny wasn’t sure how it
    happened, but they were in the back seat of the car, making out like teenagers,
    pressing their sweaty bodies against each other.  Her hand pulled on his zipper, freeing him
    from the confines of his jeans, and     Tim sighed, ravishing her neck as she teased him
    mercilessly.      Jenny‘s mind was a muddle, she’d been
    drinking, but that was no excuse, she was falling back into the vicious circle
    of adultery that she’d begin long ago.

                “We can’t do this….”  Jenny said stopping suddenly and Tim swallowed.  He stared at her, the hate working its way
    back into his handsome blue eyes.
