“I just don’t want to cause any trouble.” Bette says.

“I know you don’t. Let me talk to them, before we make any further plans.” Tina replies and leans in for a kiss.

“Okay.” Bette says and smiles. “Dig in.” Bette says as she gives Tina a smile. “Before it gets cold.” She adds.

After dinner they clean up and gets ready for their walk.

“I’m just running out to get my bag, I’ll be right back.” Bette says and runs outside.

Tina walks into the bathroom, she’s learned from early years that it’s good to go to the bathroom before going out.

Bette comes back in and walks into Tina’s bedroom to get changed. Two minutes later she’s done and knocks on the bathroom door.

“Come in.” Tina replies.

She walks in and smiles as she sees Tina putting her hair up in a ponytail. She walks over and slides her arms around Tina’s waist, she leans in and places a soft kiss on Tina’s exposed neck.

“Mmmm, I like that.” Tina says softly.

“Me too.” Bette says. They look at each other through the mirror. Bette has her head on Tina’s shoulder. “I love you.” Bette says softly. Tina moves her hand and caress Bette’s chin.

“I love you too.” She replies as she turns in Bette’s arms. They both lean in and kiss.

“Ready for that walk?” Bette asks.

“I am.” Tina replies. They take each others hands and walk outside. They walk in silence for a few minutes. “Bette?” Tina says almost in a whisper.

“Yeah?” Bette replies.

“I know you’ve been waiting for me, waiting for me to be ready.” Tina says.

“Waiting? What do you mean?” Bette asks.

“To take the next step in our relationship.” Tina replies softly.

“I am, but it’s up to you, we’re not going to do anything that makes you uncomfortable in any way.” Bette says.

“I’m scared about it.” Tina finally reveals.

“Scared? Why?” Bette asks, as she stops Tina and take a hold of her hands.

“That I won’t be enough for you.” Tina says.

“Tee, baby, don’t think that. You’re more than enough for me. All though a good sexlife is important to every relationships, it isn’t everything. You will get a hang of that as we go along. But I love you, and want to be with you. What you do to me, only from a kiss. That tells me that we’ll be okay.” Bette says.
