“Come on Jess they are good I promise.” Piper said. Jess finally got up the courage and put a small amount in her mouth. Everyone watched to see her reaction especially Bette who had yet to try them herself.
A smile slowly crept its way across Jess’s face.
“I told you that you would like them.” Piper said.
“Hey, Hey” Lynn said loudly.
“Hey Lynn.” They all mumbled.
“I glad you are all up and ready to go to the beach.” She picked a piece of toast off up and took a bite. 4 screaming boys ran in from out side.
“Me. Me.” Jess said.
“I thought you wanted to go to the Pavilion today.” Tina said quickly.
“Oh yeah we’re going to there.” Jess said eating another spoonful of grits.
“I would rather go to the Pavilion too.” Piper said smirking at Lynn her cousin.
“We told the kids that we would take them to the Pavilion today since they went to the beach yesterday and Jess has never been.” Hannah said. Bette refilled her glass with orange juice.
“Pardon my sister she has a one track mind when it comes to the beach. I am Hazel, and this is my mother Winnie.” Hazel said offering her hand to Bette.
“Bette Porter.” Bette said shaking their hands. “and this is J”
“This must be Jess. We have heard so much about the both of you. All my brother can do is talk about how good of a softball player she is.” Hazel said. Lynn rolled her eyes.
“Can we go already?” Tommy said to his mom (Lynn) with his arms full of beach toys.
“All kids not eating in the other room, Please.” Josie said. The noise level dropped drastically when the boys left the room.
“You 3 better go get dressed if you to get there before the lines.” Hannah said. Jimmy, Jess, and Piper hurriedly put their plates in the sink.
“Jess your clothes are on top of your suitcase.” Bette said as they left the room.
“Okay” Jess said following Piper step for step.
“Mom don’t you want to come go with us?” Hannah asked teasing her mom.
“Now you know I am up for just about anything, But after last summer I vowed never to go back.” Josie said taking her plate into the kitchen.

Damn all those people in the house reminds me of the Waltons. I can’t remember who anyone is. LOL I would actually like to see one more chapter so we can meet Chris, then the little family can head on to Philly.
This is sooo confusing with all the names LOL…..and I think B&T should have one more kid, with Tina being the birthmother…..and soon on to Phily…
i am still amazing for all the people living rigth now in that house, i will like read another adventure chapter in this place befor they leave to Philly. i like the way Tina treat Jess, i love this family. Have do you thing in Tina pregnant? that will be great. post soon
Nice chapter, I agree with Brook and like how Jess loves and respect Tina as her other parent. Will B&T have a child together and maybe give Jess a little brother?
It’s great how much Jess loves and respect Tina (Moma) and how much Tina loves when Jess calls her Moma. They truly have become a loving family. So many people in that house, I’m surprised they haven’t lost one of the children. LOL. Tina may want to have a baby of her own with Bette — giving Jess a little sister or brother. Thanks for the update, really do enjoy this story.
Great chapter I like the fact that Jess respects Tina and does not question her authority when ask to do something. Loving the story , please post soon.
