    Back at LA Magazine Helena had just came into Alice’s office for her briefing.

    "Good morning Alice."

    "Moring Helena."

    "How are you today?"

    "Eh getting there. Yourself?"

    "Fine Thank you."

    "Now what did you have in mind for your next article."

    "Well I’m not trying to suck up or anything but I like finances so I thought maybe I could do an article about how much it cost to raise a baby now a days."

    "You know that would be great."

    "Thank you."

    "And I dont consider it sucking up"

    "Well thats good."

    "Give me a rough copy in a about 2 weeks. Sound good."

    "Yes."

    "Have a good day Helena."

    All of her writers were out doing field work or research Alice decided to call the quits for the day. She told the reptionist if she was needed to call her cell. She stopped by the Planet and got Dana’s favortie iced coffee. She was going to surpise her at the country club Dana was taking a break when she heard someone call her name. She knew the voice and it sent chills down her spine.

    "Dana."

    Dana turns slowly around

    "Laura?"

    "Hi."

    "Hi. I though you moved to Paris?"

    "I did but I missed LA so now I’m back."

    "Oh"

    "So what have to been up to?"

    "Same old same old. You?"

    "You know looking for love in all the wrong places."

    Laura rubs Dana’s arm. Just then Alice walked to the court to see the intercation. Dana pulled away from Laura.

    "Whoa Laura!"

    "Dana come on dont you think we left things unfinshed."

    "Actually no I dont. Look Laura I dont know what your intentions exactly for coming back but you and I are over. I’m in a relationship with the women of my dreams."

    "Alice."

    "Yea how did you know?"

    "Even when we were together we were never together your heart always belonged to fucking Alice."

    "You know what Laura I dont like your tone, I think you need to leave and failure to do so will result in you being escorted out by the police."

    "Fine I’m gone."

    Laura storms off she passed Alice on the way
