Something had changed long ago, but she couldn’t place it, was it Tina or herself for that matter.

She came back after all, but it had been far from easy. More of a battle with her heart to keep from spilling, erupting into an erratic mess. She hid this part of herself from Tina.

Flying past the reception area she was met with questioning eyes but still they remained impartial to such prying thoughts that were starting to materialize at the brunettes abrupt behaviour.

"Hold my calls, I will be back shortly". With that Bette had left the building almost running to feel the waves of heat, the wind, the bustle of the streets anything but her thoughts she locked away night after night.
Walking in the mid afternoon sun, had proved more of a task at hand as it beamed almost blistering her skin. The suns rays were to be anything but gentle, more blazened and the walk provided a distraction from work. Walking six or more blocks she hadn’t be quite sure the direction she had been searching for.

    1. My Goodness, you really know how to scare our pants off. Please let them talk openly and completely honest with each other and let their love for each other shine through in all it’s glory. They need to know how each othr really feels and “don’t ASSUME ANYTHING.” Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
