“TK, are you almost ready? “ Al called back to Tina who was putting the finishing touches on her make up. Al and Dana sat in Tina’s livingroom, dressed in the cocktail dresses, drinking cocktails and waiting for Tina to get finished so that they could head to the club for Bette’s welcome back/sponsor party.
Tina was nervous. This would be the first big event that she had arranged for Bette and the most high profile.
Tina walked out wearing a sleeveless, knee length sequined red dress that showed ample cleavage and back.
“Hoowee. TK, you are dressed to kill.”
Tina blushed but appreciated the compliment. She wanted to looked her best; if she was honest it was for Bette but she convinced herself that she just wanted to make a good impression for the sponsors and the members.
Tina was equally impressed with Dana and Al. Both had figures to die for and were wearing form fitting dresses that showed them off. “You guys look pretty hot yourselves. Are you trying to pull tonight?”
Al buffed the back of her nails against her chest. “Well babe, when you got it flaunt it. One should always be prepared.”
“Right Al, ‘cause the place is going to be loaded with out lesbian pros trying to find a reason for a uhaul reservation.”
Al glared at Dana. “You know Dana, with that attitude, I don’t understand why your still single.” Al remarked sarcastically.
“Well hot stuff. I hate to break it to you but you don’t seem to be faring any better with your ‘if you build it, they will come’ attitude.” Dana shot back.
Tina once again followed the rally between the two. “Guys, maybe you two should think about getting together.” She joked.
The two stared at each other stunned at the introduction of this idea and not sure what to do with this moment.
Tina just looked at their expressions and laughed. “Are we ready to go? The others just nodded.
The place was packed. A hundred people turned out to congratulate Bette and help secure sponsorship for next year. Most considered it academic as the sponsors knew they had one of the hottest properties in sports and would have to be brain dead to let that go. But it was great for the club and Bette wanted to return the favor to the club that adopted her when she first came to the country. Kit had been like a big, protective sister when she arrived – making sure that she wasn’t taken advantage of before she could get a reputable agent and assistant. Kit likes to joke with Bette that somehow Jody slipped in when she wasn’t looking but with the acrimonious relationship between Kit and Jody, Bette doubted that Kit was indeed joking.

You gotta love this story. Lets see, Jody is playing the big he-man husband cos he’s jealous of Tina, Tina is jealous of Jody so she’s lovin anything that pisses him off, Bette is jealous of anyone paying attention to Tina, but she really has no idea why, and Helena will pickup on it soon enough. Talk about a soap opera. Can’t wait for the next installment. Jody needs to go and soon.
way to go girl… this story is getting better and better with chapter you post. I am loving this story and cannot wait until Bette gets the courage to do the obvious and tell Tina her true feelings. And hey Jody well he can leave the story now as I wont miss him ;-) pps
Oh Bette, you need to go ahead and let your feelings flow. Dump the guy and look into those hazel eyes that are calling your name. Helena is a sweet heart because most people would ask why and not think about their friend’s reasons.
Haven’t commented in a while, but still loving your story. Poor Bette, how long will it take her to figure out what’s going on?? Surprised Jody didn’t pee on Bette’s leg trying to mark his territory when he saw Tina. Thanks for the frequent updates!!

Bette was very restrained there. I will admit I was half-hoping for her to sling Tina over her shoulder, shout “MINE!!”, and hightail it out of that club, sponsors, friends, Helena and Jody be damned. Ah well. Maybe soon, eh? ;) Thanks for the post, Robi.

What keep Bette from Stuffing a dirty pair of gym socks in Jodys mouth?? Tina and Helena No No. Bette and Tina yes. Bette is really going to lose it and Tina will know that she is Bettes woman. thanks
