Bette and Tina walk upstairs to get cleaned up for dinner.  Marilyn and Melvin look at each other and bust out laughing.

“Did you see how Bette tried to act all surprised when Tina mentioned how much she loved lasagna?” Marilyn laughed. 

“That child practically begged me to make it tonight. Now I know why.  She sure knows how to put on the charm.” 

Melvin smiled.  “Baby I think she really likes Ms. Kennard.”

“I think you are right.  I just hope she can handle it.”

Up in Bette’s room:

Bette closes the door and turns and looks at her new girlfriend.

“So rookie what do you want to study tonight?”

“Your lips.” Tina replied while coming closer to Bette and leaning in for a kiss.

“Hmm. Sounds good to me.”  Bette wanted to let the blond set the pace so she waited for Tina to make the kiss more passionate. 

And boy did she! Tina begged for entrance into Bette’s mouth with her sweet tongue.  Tina moaned and hugged Bette tighter.  Bette was getting turned on.  She wanted to slow down because she is very wet and Tina just got there.  If she is going to make it through the night, she has to chill.

She pulled away, “Baby we have to slow it down.  Mom will be calling us for dinner soon.  We have all night to get cozy, ok?” Bette said looking at Tina.

“Um ok.  I just can’t help myself.  I’ve been thinking about kissing you all day.” Tina smiled.

“Me too, T.  Trust me.  You’re so sweet.” Bette said.  Just when she was going in for another one, they heard:

“Hey girls, dinner’s ready.”  Marilyn called from the bottom of the stairs.

“Come on babe.  I hope you are hungry.” Bette said holding out her hand for Tina.

“I am but I look forward to ‘studying’ later Porter.” Tina said.

 They have dinner with Bette’s parents and while they are enjoying the food as well as the conversation, both girls are eager to be alone again.  Tina is nervous because she knows how experience Bette is and she is a little intimidated by it.  Bette is nervous because she respects Tina and does not want to do anything to scare Tina off. 

Marilyn and Melvin are pretty sure Tina is their daughter’s newest girlfriend, and it’s clear that she is very special.  Bette gets a twinkle in her eye when she looks at Tina.  Tina is winning over the parents as well.  Tina feels right at home at the Porter dinner table.  She hopes this is the first of many sleep overs.  She loves being with Bette and she is sure Bette feels the same.

Tina is so lost in her thoughts she doesn’t realize Mrs. Porter is speaking to her.

“Tina, dear would you like a second helping?”

“No ma’am I am saving room for desert.  There is piece of chocolate cake with my name on it.” Tina said eyeing the rich moist chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.”

“Well I’ll have a second helping of lasagna mom.  I’ll enjoy my desert in my room.” 

Tina starts coughing at Bette’s choice of words, immediately imagining being Bette’s desert.

“You ok, dear?” Marilyn says. 

“I’ll get you some water Tina.”  Melvin says.

Bette looks down trying to hide her blushing.  She knows exactly where Tina’s mind has gone.

‘Damn tonight is going to be interesting.’

Both Bette and Tina thought at the same time.
