Then Coach Strang got back on stage, " Congrats to Shane, and thank Mr. Aurematti for coming all the way out here. Now it is time for the signing, any students who wish to leave may, and any students who would like to stay and take pictures or get autographs with the now eligible players for college, thank you all and have a nice day. ", The students clapped one last time.

A few students left, but it was hardly even noticable. Now the press was all over the players as they sat at the signing tables the JV’s the sophmores, and the juniors walking around the stage talking to various interviewers and taking pictures with their friends. Meanwhile Shane and Papi where waiting at their tables to sign their college contracters to arrive.

Papi’s was the first to arrive, as she said it was Tracy Williams-Johnson. She arrived with Papers as Papi began her signing with North Carolina. Shane was waiting patiently on the other side of the table answering a few of the interviewers questions as she waited for her contracter.

Then out of no where a reporter shouted " Pat, over here Pat ! ", Shane looked to her left as she saw reporters swamping Pat Summitt and her DOBO ( Director Of Basketball Operations ) Danielle Donehew, who was holding papers.

" Hello Shane ", Pat greeted, ignoring the persistant reporters.

" Coach Summitt, wow, it’s great that you made it to the signing ", Shane said breathlessly

" Glad I could make it ", she replied

Pat and Danilelle took a seat next Shane and handed her the papers, " Okay Shane, we’re offereing you a full ride to Tennessee. We need some young blood, so we are giving you and Alex Kelly a full scholarship to play for our program. Do you accept, if so please sign this contract. ", Danielle Donehew ordered

" I accept ", Shane said proudly as she began signing on every line.

Back at the cheerleaders, Carmen was being interviewd by the local news station. They were asking her about Shane, and just some question about their being together. Carmen happily answered them as Shane was still doing the signing

Shane was done with the contract, then her and Pat Summitt both stood up and shook hands. Holding the postion for a minute so that the press could take pictures.

" Well Shane, I’ll see you by the beginning of August for pre-season training, take care until then. I’ll be looking forward to your arrival. ", Pat finished as she began walking away

" Oh, and Shane here this is for you ", Danielle Donhew gave Shane a good size box then walked away with Coach Summitt.

Something just occured to Shane, her college dream was now fulfilled …

Hours later, after interviews, pictures, autographs, it all ended and they all went back to Shane’s house.

Shane was collapsed on the couch watching T.V. with Papi while Jenny and Carmen were on the floor looking through some high matinence, fashion type magizines. Dana and Alice were also on the floor playing Monopoly.

" I’m hungrey let’s go get something to eat ", Jenny told Carmen as they both got up and walked into the kitchen

" So champ, have you thought about who you were gonna ask to the prom yet, you do know it’s in two weeks right ?? ", Alice hinted as she continued to play Monopoly.

Shane’s eyes grew wide as she shot up on the couch startling everyone –

" SHITT !!!! I FORGOT !!!! "

How was it, was it alright ?? Sorry about not that much Sharmen this chapter but I’m just setting the building blocks right now for Shane’s career, please understand.
