" Um, well .. I was thinking dinner and a movie ? "

" EW ! no Shane, that is so original, please try to be creative for once, you know more romantic ! "

Shane scratched the back of her head and started to think " Well … I could get dinner on the beach from that one really expensive resturant, and then I could take her to the highest point in LA ? "

Jenny smiled again " Perfect. "

Shane too smiled before she said " Well, I’m so tired I just want to go to bed .. good night Jenny "

" Good Night Shane " Jenny said then kissed her cheek.

Shane walked groggily to her room, then Jenny also went to bed. It was a long day for them.

Central High ( Shane’s Locker ) 

Shane was getting all of her things for her morning classes at her locker. It was starting to become very difficult with all of the people coming up and slapping her on the back saying things like " Good game " or " That was an amazing shot " But eventually she was all ready and went over to Jenny’s locker so her and Carmen could walk to homeroom together.

" Heyy Carmen, you ready ? " Shane called out

" Yepp, see you at lunch Jenny "

" Okay bye Carmen, bye Shane ! "

" Bye "  They both said

Carmen and Shane were weaving their way through people when Carmen asked

" So … where are we going on that date tonight ? "

" Well, I could tell you … but I think I’ll leave you in suspense instead " Shane teased

Carmen nudged her " That’s not fair ! "

Shane shrugged " Life’s not fair " she teased again

They both continued laughing all the way to homeroom. And the whole day Carmen was trying to get out from her where they were going but Shane never said a word.

The Crib ( Half-An-Hour before the date )

Shane was busy with last minute preparations. She was calling the beach resteraunt to make sure everything was ready. And Shane took a short trip to a flourist store to pick up some white roses for Carmen. By that time everything was ready, and Shane started making her way back the the house to pick her up.

Meanwhile ….

Jenny was helping Carmen pick out her outfit. Eventually they decided and Carmen was ready, then they went to go sit on the couch.

Soon after Shane arrived and opened the door. Carmen heard and stood up and walked over to were Shane was. Carmen smiled as she saw the boquet of white roses in her hands.

" Awe, thank you their beautiful " Carmen said gratefully

" You are too " Shane smiled

Carmen blushed a little. And Shane said " So, are you ready to go ? "

" Yepp let’s go "

Carmen grabbed Shane’s hand and they went to her car and drove off to Shane’s date destination.

Some Beach Resturant ?

When they got there Shane went around and opened the door for Carmen. She smiled, she thought Shane’s simple gestures were so cute. Shane took her hand and led her onto the beach. Carmen was somewhat puzzled, but kept following Shane.

" Shane, where are we going ? "

Shane stopped at a small area that had a large blanket on the ground. They both sat down. And then two caterers came out with plates, silverware, and their food. Shane had ordered 2 chicken salads from LA’s most expensive resteraunt.

Carmen looked at Shane with an ‘ you seriously shouldn’t have ‘ face

" What makes you think I’m worth all of this trouble ? " Carmen asked

" Well, you are. " Shane said simply

" Thank you, but seriously you really shouldn’t have done all of this "

" I know … I should have " Shane replied cockily, and Carmen just smiled

They were making small talk while eating, just enjoying each others company. And after they were finished they sat side by side just to watch the sunset.

Carmen loved this. It was by far the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her. After more talking, and dessert Shane asked if she was ready for one more suprise. Carmen nodded and they got back into the car and drove away to Shane’s last stop.

" You simply amaze me, Shane "
