    Chapter 5

    Dana and Lara

    Dana looks very sad. She sits in Laras bed. Lara looks at Dana and sees how sad she is. Lara walks to Dana and goes sit next to her.
    Lara: Danayou just look so sad. Is it because of Alice and that she thinks about moving to New York.
    Dana: Yeah she cant just move away She cant leave me
    Lara has a tear coming down and she doesnt look at Dana.
    Lara: I understand if you want to be with her you two had this thing going onand if you want to be with her be with her
    Dana looks at Lara and sees tears in Laras eyes. Dana wipes them away.
    Dana: Lara look at meplease?
    Lara looks at Dana.
    Dana: I want to be with you theres no one else. You are the one for me
    Lara smiles a little. Dana looks at her and hugs her.
    Dana: Come here I love you so much and if Alice is not okay with it its her own fault. Okay
    Lara: Okay
    Lara stands up but Dana pulls her back and she falls on the bed. They both giggle.
    Dana: Wow Im so tired
    Lara: Me too
    Dana kisses Lara on the neck. Lara puts her arms around Dana and they both fall as sleep.

    Shane and Carmen

    Carmen: Shane I said that Im sorrywhat else do you want me to do?
    Shane: You dont understand it was only thing that I had from my mom
    Carmen: Shane you know that I didnt mean to break it
    Shane: Do I?
    Carmen: You dont even believe me?
    Shane doesnt say a thing she just looks at Carmen.
    Carmen: Shane answer me. Do you believe me?
    Shane is quiet.
    Carmen: Okay I get it.
    Carmen stands up and leaves the house. Shane looks down at the broken statue.
    She looks at the door and sees Carmen coming back.
    Carmen: You know what Shane you mom didnt even love you and now you are ready to leave me just because that stupid statue is broken?
    Shane: ***** you Carmen. And never say that mom didnt love me. You dont even know here.
    Carmen: Do you know her?
    Shane cant take this anymore. She looks at Carmen and Slaps her. Carmen holds her cheek and looks at Shane. Shane looks at Carmen. She tries to touch Carmen but Carmen pulls away.
    Shane: I didnt meanCarmen Im sorry I didnt mean it Im sorry.
    Shane falls down and starts to cry. Carmen looks at her and after a while she goes and hugs her.
    Shane: I didnt mean it Im sorry
    Carmen: its okay Shane its okay.
    She kisses Shane on the head.. They stay like that until Shane stops crying. They both stand up and look at each other. They just dont know what to say or do.
    Carmen: Maybe I should go
    Shane: If you want or we could watch a movie
    Carmen: movie sounds nice
    Shane: okay
    Shane goes and sits on the sofa. Carmen sits on the other side. After couple minutes she moves closer to Shane. She puts her arms around Shane. Shane touches Carmens cheek
    Shane: Im sorry
    Carmen looks into Shanes eyes.
    Carmen: its okay and it was my fault
    Shane: No it wasnt Im sorry can you maybe one day forgive me?
    Carmen: I can forgive you now.
    They softly kiss.
