“Oh, duh,” Alice said slapping her forehead.

Shane come out of the bathroom dressed in the swimsuit that fit her perfectly, walking past Alice, who grabbed her, spun her around, pushed her against the wall, and planted a kiss on her lips. 

Kit hearing the bump against the wall walked around the corner and saw them kissing.  She quickly got Tina’s attention to go look around the corner.  Tina came around the corner just as Shane and Alice were breaking from their kiss.

“That was for leaving me defenseless against the water guns,” Alice stated.  “But thanks to me having the tape and the kids being so understanding, I managed to get away with a bunch of wet hugs.”

“Well, when were you guys going to tell us you were a couple?” Tina said startling Shane and Alice.

“Well,” Alice said.  “It’s a story we want to tell when everyone’s together.”

Shane shook her head in agreement.  “Let’s wait until after we’ve eaten.”

“Well, let me be the first to congratulate you,” Tina said with a smile and gave the girls a hug. 

“I’m going swimming.  Those boys are going to have to pay for trying to wet me,” Shane said with a smile.

“O.K.  See you in a bit,” Alice said giving Shane a small kiss.

“What’s that?” Tina asked Alice.

“Oh, you won’t believe it,” Alice stated. 

“Try me,” Tina said remembering the tape she and Bette watched the night before.

“Well, just before I was leaving my house,” Alice started remembering.  “This cute delivery guy was standing at the front door trying to open it.  He had a package for me.  I took it back inside my apartment and opened it.  Then my phone rang and I stuck the tape and note in my laptop bag.  On the flight here I read the note.” 

Alice started crying a little, but quickly composed herself.  “It was a note from Dana.  She wanted me to watch the tape with you guys, Shane, and Kit.  So when we were here and I saw you had a VCR, I had to go get the tape.  I was hoping we could watch it tonight.”

“Absolutely!” Tina agreed.  “If you want to join the fun outside, there are extra suits in the top drawer over there.”

“No thanks.  I thought I’d hang with you guys in the kitchen,” Alice smiled.

“Hey girl, the more the merrier,” Kit smiled back.

With the three in the kitchen, it didn’t take as long to make the jambalaya as it usually did when Tina did it by herself.  The kids came in and changed their clothes.

“Mmm, that smells good,” said Michael.

“Yeah, I’m starvin’ like Marvin’ ova hea,” Chris said with an accent.

Kit shook her head and laughed.  The kids went to their rooms and watched T.V. until they were called to eat.

Bette and Shane walked in and changed their clothes.  Bette was faster than Shane was and made it back to the kitchen.

“Babe, that smells divine,” Bette stated.

“Thanks, but I’m not the only one cooking here,” Tina said giving credit where credit was due.

“How much longer?” Shane asked.  “I’m starving.”

Alice put her arms around Shane’s waist and said, “Go put this in the VCR and it’ll be done soon.”

Bette saw the gesture and poked Tina in the side a few times.  Tina giggled as Bette kept tickling her. 

“Bette, why don’t you go help Shane,” Tina said finally.

“O.K.  I would be of no use in here anyways,” Bette agreed.

Everyone laughed.  Shane and Bette went into the living room and Shane put the tape in the VCR.
